Hi BYOLA2871, it's certain that I would be in a great shock if I were to see such a great amount of email in my mailbox. It would be normal if we haven't check the mailbox for a long period, but you just stay away for a while only. Does this mean that having system glitch. It's hard to believe that you would receive such amazed amount number of mails in a while. To delete all of them would be a problem as well. We would worry that important mails among them would be deleted if we press that delete all button

Well, I am not aware of any software for that. But whatever is in your spam folder you could just dump. Everything else, well, just take your time. Do maybe 100 a day. Delete the stuff that is not important. If I had that many emails, I would sift through it. But not all in one day. But to have 189200 mails will take a while to get through. Or, you could just delete everything without looking.

I usually never have any important e-mail with gmail or yahoo, since i have my own account for job related. If i were you, you should just filter e-mail from all your friend, i am sure that many email is mostly spam mail. You should skip them since from my experience they usually not important at all.

Uhm, well, first, you should be able to filter it by yourself by using the built in search feature in email. Gmail has it, YahooMail has it, and I think most other email providers will also have this. And second, even if exist some important emails among those 189200, I just doubt that it will still be useful for you since whatever information there are just already obsolete.. (the number of emails show that you haven't opened emails for a long time) :o

maintain 2 to 3 mail id,split the id according to their importance and provide id to the mail sender as per your preference coz its helps you to delete all the general mail at once without evaluating the the importance and general once.
