Should i quit my job?

It's been 5 years since i started with this company. Undoubtedly, i enjoyed my job because i get to meet a lot of people with different personalities and points of view in life and i also get a very good pay with this. This job is rewarding and this is some sort of an answered prayer to me from the time i graduated. But as time passes by, i'm having second thoughts on quitting or keeping my job for some reasons like bad working relations with my office mates. i know this happens in every offices but i just couldn't take it or get used to it. This place is making me mentally and emotionally stress. Another thing is that i feel like i'm bored and i want something new. I want to learn new and different things. I feel like i'm stagnant here. I'm doing the same routine every other day. But reality tells me that it's not that easy to find a new job this days. Even fresh graduates find it very hard to get one. So what should i do? Should i quit or should i stay? And if i quit, the only thing that comes to my mind that can support me financially is to venture into business. What would it be? Where should i start? I am not a risk taker, so i really have a problem right now.

In my opinion I believe that you shouldn't because jobs are getting harder to get as more people are filling in positions. If you're going to quit your job then at least make sure you have a back up job. If you don't like your office mates then you'll just have to improve your relations with them or end up having to ignore them until a task is given but social interaction is quite important so I suggest you not to ignore them. Also what kind of job do you have?

If you aren't happy at your job and it is causing you a lot of stress then it is better to change your joba nd find something else for you. However, before you quit this job, it is very important that you have another means of financial support. You could try looking for another job while still working at this place an dwhen you find another job then you can quit this one. Or, if you want to do your own business, you can gather up information and resources to start your business while still doing this job and when your business has started you can quit . Good luck

ungortunately, you cannot always move on when you are bored. why do you feel bored and stressed? you really should get a new job before you quit so you have uninterrupted income instead of just quitting with no where to go.

I think you should find first another job, perhaps in the same field. The skills you've learned in this company you can use in other company with the same activity, although it is of the competition. Try to send your CV to other companies and may be you can start on a new job. After five years you've won experience and that is valuable. If the relatons with your mates in your work are going worse you could get stressed and an exit is to find a new job. Good luck and tell us when you've resolved this matter.

Hi,you know people around you are different specially when they had kinds of personalities. If you want to quit job make sure that there is another available job for you. And also you need to grow about those people around you,and you are to stay away with and make other new good friends to help you, comfort you.

In my opinion, when you are not happy anymore in your workplace, it is already time for your to quit . But before quitting, see to it first that you have a back-up of your finances. Maybe while you are on your current job, you could start scouting for a job. Use your leaves when it is necessary to go to an interview. When you are surely hired already in another company already, then that's the time for you to tender your resignation.

Like others said, it's safer to change if you already know you can go somewhere else. You can start looking for another job while you are here, and stay until you find a better one, that way you don't have to be without income for months. It's very hard to find a job nowadays and many people are happy that they have a job at all, but if you had enough of yours, it might be better to start looking for a new one.

yes! you said it right it's not easy to find job nowadays. and if you can find a job and then the company will hire you that's the time you quit from your recent job. just neglect those people that makes you feel stress you're working because you want to help your family. Good luck:)

Before you quit your job, you should have a back-up plan if you can't find a new one. And does your company have branches? Maybe you could ask for a transfer or apply for a higher position where you can start anew?
