And not just that, these little insects also ruined my mother's door and the front door. I really wanted to get rid of this but I don't know how. I am very bothered about this problem for sometime now. The chairs and the center table in our living room are slowly ruined by the termites. The other day I have encountered the termites in the door of my mother. I was really disgusted to see them. I feel like throwing up. Do you have any suggestions about these termites my friends? Please share it here!

I had the same problem a few years ago, and the termites really did some damage. Cost us a lot of money since we had to replace a lot of things. Plus the other irreplaceable stuff that we lost. You could kill the termites you see by using termite killers you could buy from any hardware store, but I would suggest that you call professional pest control people. The termites you would kill are just the workers. You need to find the queen. This is what's important. Otherwise, it'll just spawn more termites. Also, termites are subterranean creatures. They're under the ground. Applying chemicals on the exterior won't stop them unless you apply it to your whole house but even that won't assure you.

But you could go ahead and apply termite killers. It would at least keep them at bay temporarily. There's even a spray-type termite killer already so it's convenient to use it. This is just a band-aid treatment, so you still need to eventually call in the professionals :)

But first and foremost I still have to buy a termite killer. I haven't gone out of the house yet. I have already put a memo not to forget to buy. I hope it will solved easily.

As long as there are wooden stuffs in the house, there's no way u can do anything to remove termites. Their nest should be around there and the only option is to replace all wooden furniture, stuffs to things of other materials. IF not, u can only either find a new house or burn down the entire house Basically termites are like ants, once they have a designated route to their 'food', they will always follow it until there's none to be found. One of my friends had a similiar problem and he simply changed all the furniture in the house, and problem is solved.

Likewise we have the same problem here at home, getting rid of pesky termites. They have already eaten a lot of things inside the house, from parts of the floor, walls, window planks, stairs, cabinets and others I cannot enumerate. I have tried so may things to control their invasion but to no avail they keep coming back eating away so many wooden things around the house. During rainy days they are very aggressive and you really can't do anything to stop them. I guess the only chance to at least restrain there invasion is to find their colony or nest, and if it is underground dig up the whole thing so that you can get their queen, without her, the colony will die. The queen can lay thousands of termites, so better hunt her before it is too late. You can try to control them by getting rid of their passage ways or routes they use of getting into the house, you can pour in used motor oil in that passage way to eliminate those that walk through it. Make sure their are no ground dirt near your house walls because they can use that as a passage way without you knowing it. Likewise wood planks that rest on your house walls and tree branches that gets in touch of your house can be a bridge for them to get inside your house. However I think the best way to get rid of them is to seek professional pest control experts so that they can spray some termite killing chemicals around and inside your house.

I will really find a professional pest control in order to get rid of them. I will tell my mother about it. But as of now, I just have to buy a temporary termite killer which was also suggested by our other friends here. Have you managed to take out the queen already? If yes, was it creepy enough or disgusting much? I really can't take seeing them.

I am not a fan of the pesky critters at all, but then again who is? I wish you well on that mission. Just be sure that whatever you use does not have ingredients that are too poisonous...if continuously inhaled. So, maybe you could try, a recipe that my mom has that is all natural but apparently really effective! You or your mom will need half a cup of borax (non-toxic) and 1 liter of non-toxic antifreeze. Those 2 ingredients need to be mixed well together. Then, generously paint the mixture over unsealed wooden beams and floorboards (or wherever they are!) - You can then apply wood sealant over that or not. But it may be better if you did. Also, even though borax is non-toxic and relatively it still should not be within reach of children or pets. Sincerely hope you can get rid of those pests soon as!

Thanks for giving me a wonderful advice. I will try it. However, I have one question, Where can I find those ingredients needed my friend? I will buy it so that I will start getting rid of those small but wise and dangerous termites! I am so eager already. Thank you also for being so concerned. I truly appreciate it.

Call the termite exterminator. Immediately! Termites will continue to ravage your wood furniture if you don't exterminate them now.

Yes, I will do it my friend. Don't worry! It is true that it will not stop damaging our wooden furniture and other wooden stuffs if I will not die them all. Thanks a lot my dear!

Here are a few things I can suggest: 1. Clean the termite-infested area. Brush up the door and the furniture. Make sure you remove the dirt along with the hardened "mud" in the cleaning process. Collect the termites and throw them into a nearby river or incinerate them. This ensures they cannot come back to haunt you again. 2. Apply insect-repellant solution on the affected area. Check out the hardware store and get yourself a repellant solution specifically mixed and developed for getting rid of termites. 3. If all else fails, call a pest control expert.

Wow! Thanks a lot! You really did give me an enumeration of things I need to do. Surely I will do it. I have done the first step already. It was a bit hard to do my friend because I can't move along and I feel still disgusted by the termites. So it was mother who finished the job. By the second step, I will buy that when I will be going out!
