I should take a picture

Well it's 6:00 PM here where I am in the USA but it looks pretty. It looks like it could storm any minute and I love it! I love the way the sky looks with a good rain or thunderstorm, and I tell you that would be the most relaxing thing, if we could turn everything off and just listen to it. Of course this is also coming from a woman who could sit with the power off for hours and be happy and not bored at all. So I am thinking I should take a picture, but this camera pretty much sucks, and I don't feel bothered to do it. Maybe later before it gets too dark I'll see an even better opportunity. Do you like to take pictures of the weather? Are you a storm chaser?

My daughter is a storm chaser. She likes to look at pictures of tornadoes and watch all those movies. I don't really care for them at all. Now I can watch a rain storm or fog. I like them. I enjoy setting reading and listening to the rain on the roof and hear people driving by. Now that I like.

Now I do like the relaxing sound of heavy raind and a few rumbling storms, that is very nice. Loud storms can make me scared, but then oddly enough sometimes I like them.

I'm not real big on real loud ones either.

Sometimes I will take weather pictures, but no, I do not chase storms. It is a good day, with slow falling rain. Definitely spring like here.

We had storms, they weren't fast moving but weren't slow either. Were gone within two to three hours actually. It was a nice little storm, with a few loud spikes. Actually kind of disappointing in a way.

last year, there must have been a thundercloud 100 feet high of anvil. I would have liked to have gotten a picture of that, but we didn't have a good camera last year and I was driving, so bad idea. I'm not a storm chaser, but I do like to take pictures of clouds.

I hate when we have a good opportunity but not the means or equipment!

Oh, you are so like me and you must be in the same time zone as me also. Right now it's 6:23 PM so it sounds about right. I'm in Ohio and right now it's just beautiful outside and I had such a great day. Storms are one of my favorite things to watch. We had a good one the other morning, really early around 4:00am and I was up looking out the window. BOOOOOMMM! I saw the lightning come down and hit somewhere and it was really a big hit! I too watch the storms coming in and have taken pictures. That type of stuff fascinates me and I would love, maybe just once (haha) to go out with the storm chasers and watch for tornadoes. Wow, that would be such a thrill to me.

I am in the EST time zone. The storms are passing through, and there may be a bit more. It's too dark to get any shots. Now I don't know about storm chasing. I'm good with just standing outside for a few minutes before it gets too dangerous to, or looking out the window. With that being said, Tornadoes and very very severe storms do scare me.

Take the picture NOW & if a better one comes along later...take it too!!! I'm not a storm chaser, but I do appreciate the beauty in a developing storm!!! Even tornadoes have a beautiful side just before the destruction!!! Here, we don't get the roaring storms that other areas of the country do; so maybe that's why I can see beauty in the developing storm. I've often wondered if I'd see beauty if I was facing the destruction they often bring??? Well...did you get any pics???

After I posted this I saw an opportunity but didn't take it, was too lazy to as I might have had to go out and around the house just to capture it. It's too dark now. I also wasn't sure I'd get it captured the way I see it as this phone's camera is pretty bad. When I had my droid I'd take pictures of the sky all the time.

I'm not a storm chaser but i'm a person who appreciates the sky, the clouds, the sun and nature. I take pictures using my phone camera and they turn out pretty well. Of course not a dslr quality but i could filter it and make it look like it's been taken by a professional. I like having fun with different filters on my camera. It's like lomography. I drive every weekend to my hometown and i sometimes feel that i should stop the car and take pictures of what i see around me. But sometimes i'm in a hurry and just couldn't do that. Every time i look at a beautiful scenery i picture myself holding a camera and just shooting.

I use my phone camera and it is not of the best quality. My phone is kind of one of those cheaper ones so that is why. There are so many beautiful places I can think to go and take pictures, and maybe one day I'll buy myself a higher grade camera and do just that.

I not really a storm chaser however, if I find that the weather enthralls me then I take my camera and get a picture of it. My favorite one is during sunny weather. You can get a better picture of sunrise and sunset. :)

I love the weather that we have had. I enjoy looking at the rain and the sky. I also have a sucky camera but I would love to be able to take quality pictures of the lightening storms we have been having.

I'm not a storm chaser but I like to go outside and sit on the back porch when there is a storm coming in. I am up on a hill looking out over a field and I have a wonderful view of the sky back there. This weekend is supposed to be stormy here...maybe I will take a picture.

I'm not a storm chaser, but I enjoy watching the clouds. I like thunderstorms, though here we rarely have dangerous weather and no tornadoes. I take pictures of the weather, but they never show how they looked in reality. I see amazing sunsets, but it's hard to take a good capture. Sometimes I wish the power went off for an few hours, so I wouldn't feel "guity" that I'm just gazing at the sky
