Hi mylotters,
I play second life recently, and I still wonder how to get a job in there. I talk to people there, and they said, most of them are doing DJ and dancers. I wonder if I can look for another job rather than DJ, dancers or even hosting.
I found a club for writers and book lovers. But I don't know how to earn any Linden Dollars there, none tell me.. :( Though they said we can become a writer and published the book there and I am dying to know how..
Is there any mylotters know about that? Or do you have any suggestion how to find jobs there besides doing DJ, dancers, and hosting? thx

I would say if you are going to be a writer of a books and such the way that you would make money on their is by creating an object in like a sandbox area that would be a cube but you would make it as book like as you can get it and maybe upload a graphic of some kind on to it so that it looks like a book. Then you would either get a shop or find a place that would allow you to place the object their and have it set up to sell copies of itself to people and inside of it would have a note with the text inside of it or maybe a link to a .pdf the person could download off your website. I would say the later would work far better in my opinion.
Also a thing to remember is that Second Life is as open as Real Life if not a little bit more open as you can pretty much do anything in Second Life with out much if any limits. Some might just be far more niche than others. Dancing and DJing are very popular.

I have never played it. I was seriously considering it but I read some not so good reviews. Not that it is a scam or nothing like that just, that not enough people play it. So it gets boring real quick and there is no one really to teach you how to succeed in the game. That's was months ago, so does it seem to have a good bit of people playing it now?
