When was the last time you googled yourself?

It's one of those things every human being with an internet connection would definitely think of doing at least once in their lives, wouldn't you agree?
Anyone who says they haven't been struck by this idea yet is probably lying.
At times, I wonder how many celebrities google themselves and look at pictures or pages of or about themselves posted by the paparazzi, by their fans or even stalkers! Maybe that's all they do with the little free time that they have!!
Seriously, though, have you ever googled yourself?
Hmmm... I think a better question would be, how long did it take for you to google yourself after you got an internet connection? And do you still do it regularly?
By the way, when I say 'google', I don't mean the Google search engine exclusively. It could be any search engine that you prefer.

I haven´t done it for ages actually, so I just did. Lots of entries, but only a couple which I could find which were relevant. One was old electoral roll information going back to 2004 and several referencing to me in an article dated 2000.
I only went back a couple of pages though. Perhaps all the exciting stuff is further back?

Firstly this can only work in Mozilla. Download grease monkey which is a Firefox extension. Get it here, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/ . It allows you to run scripts when browsing using Firefox. When done, go to http://userscripts.org/ and search the word face book. You will see all sorts of scripts associated with face book. Personally I use the social fixer script which also does what you are asking. I hope this helps.

I did it once and was frankly shocked at the personal information that came up. Some people should be a little careful about the information that release about others on the Internet. I don't think it would have bothered me if this information went out there because of something I did myself but it wasn't. In fact the information predated the Internet while I was a very young teenager.
