Now that I have your attention! I went to get my eyes checked like I do every other year. My eyes have not changed much so I don't have to worry about getting new eye glasses. After that my eye doctor put those eye drops in my eyes to check my eyes even more! So when I go done I had to get to work. Soon as I got here everyone is asking "What is wrong with your eyes? You look like you are on drugs"! My eyes were really dilated and it took a few hours before they were back to normal! I am not a drug user but it was funny hearing what people thought what might be wrong! I had to laugh!

My roomie has to go home and go to bed when she gets her eyes dilated because her eyes are so light sensitive....

I've had this done before and I really am not that sensitive to light. Only with the sun but my lenese darken in the sun so I have no big problem with that.

What a coincidence : I am just helping my sister with a test about the eye structure. I just read about that hole in the eye (what is called "the apple of the eye" or maybe pupil) , it is the thing that can get wider or thiner by the amount of light that enters the eye. So much material to read about that small but so complex mechanism , the eye...Damit , I have to read half of the material every time I find a question I have no clue. And my sister is supposed to do it , but she went to work. Now that's a lol. Btw , wide pupil can also testify about interest in the human : if you are looking on something that interests you , your pupil will get wider , so they say. Even ancient chinies merchants could tell wether the client likes their goods.

Something similar happened to me once. I had drops put in my eyes and at the end of the testing, I forgot to put my glasses back on. Amazingly, I could see perfectly, or so I thought. On going out, I reached for the door (glass of course) and misjudging the distance, punched it really hard. I hurt my hand but the door survived. I quickly put my glasses back on!

So funny. I can imagine when your colleagues saw you.I have nearsight desease. It is different from yours,right?12 years wearing glasses makes my eyes deformed. So bad. I have tried contact lenses but it is not comfortable. I am also afraid to have an operation. It really bothered me a lot.

I am nearsighted and have been wearing eyeglasses since I was nine! I will be 50 in May! I also have a stigmatism. My right eye is a lazy eye and it was never caught when I was growing up. I wouldn't be able to do contacts and I don't care to do laser surgery! I'll stick with my eye glasses!
