I just don't know if this will be the next project that will be done near by the bay or this is already the SM City Cebu. Since I have mentioned this in another discussion that there was an architect who is the daughter of the prominent landscaper here in the Philippines, she told my dad that SM Mall Cebu is the largest mall in the Philippines and larger than Mall of Asia. For sure they are the landscaper of that mall and probably for sure that could be very beautiful that will look classy.

How sure are you that SM Cebu is the largest Mall in the Philippines? They proclaimed that MOA is the largest Mall.

we already have sm city cebu. it is located in Mandaue and it is big but then MOA is bigger than sm city cebu. I think what meta is referring here is about the mall that is yet to be built in SRP. right now construction is still ongoing and I dont have news on when it will be finished. I am excited to know that it will be the biggest mall, I hope so because I have been to MOA and i got lost

lol! I think I haven't toured the entire Mall of Asia. And I've been there a lot of times. For sure, SM Cebu is a lot smaller than MOA, I've been there too.

I have not been to cebu, much less sm cebu. hehe but if you say so that it is larger than that must be the case. i have been to mall of asia, i personally did not like the lay out, it always confuses me. i think its over rated. i prefer smaller malls or ayala malls to be honest because their structures and architectures are much comfortable.

I agree, Mega Mall is even better than MOA. Besides, what the deal of having the biggest mall when people only visit their favorite boutique or particular stall that they want... I also prefer smaller malls, Glorietta or Landmark is fine.

It just amazes me how pinoys love malls so much. They keep making bigger and bigger malls, the way foreigners are striving to build higher and higher. We're more obsessed with malls. And what's more amazing, pinoys keep saying they're poor! But you would see them shopping all the time, or else malls wouldn't have survived!

oh yeah? I didn't heard of this yet. I've been to Cebu so many times back on the early years of 2000s But I was not lucky enough to set foot on the grounds of this mall and I don't have an idea where in Metro Cebu it's situated. The SM mall of Asia is actually the second Largest mall in the country after SM North EDSA ( in terms of leasable area ),3rd largest in Asia and 4th in the world according to the Forbes' Magazine. If the proposed project will be successful, then surely I'll be checking it out if it happens I will be lucky enough to get to Cebu once again in the future, since I've been to the Mall of Asia and other SM malls in Metro Manila many times before.

Yes, it will called "SM Seaside City Cebu". As what I heard, it'll be bigger than Mall of Asia. It is located in South Coastal Road (SRP) here in Cebu.
