hi friends.i am surprised people didn't start this discussion already or i missed it. many attributed india's dominance over cricket after the IPL. they became number 1 test team, had splendid records in ODI .to make it short they were world beater. now the Bangladesh Premier league just got over and suddenly we see a bangladesh team beating india, srilanka and scared pakistan into thinking they were playing against australia twice. is somehow BPL is reason for this new phenomenon or just players wanting to show we were not minnows?

There is no doubt that the performance of Bangladesh in Asia cup is influenced by the BPL tournament. By playing along with great players like Gayle, Bangladesh players learned how to play with out any fear and how to face pressure situation. The full credit of the stunning performance of Bangladesh goes to BPL.

Well, doesn't it seem odd to hear what you said - India's dominance over cricket! Well, back to business. One cannot disagree with the fact that there was a lot of positive influence of the IPL over the Indian cricket in general and the Indian national team in particular. There were many IPL players who were a part of the national team. Players might tend to take the IPL success with them in the national side. If they perform well at one level, they will certainly feel confident on the other. I, for one, believe that BPL is the reason behind Bangladesh's current success.

I think Bangladeshi players had been performing impressively after the BPL. The BPL definitely had made effects on the Bangladeshi players. The BPL is not only for money making, Bangladesh utilized BPL for making their team strong and powerful. The players got a lot of matches in BPL and were able to perform well in the pressure situations. I don't think IPL had made anything good for the Indian team. Indians should learn from Bangladesh........

surely, BPL have changed their approach to game. They are now playing fearlessly. Now some of their players need to just convert their Half centuries to TON.If they are able to do that, then surely they are becoming dangerous in world cricket. They have once again proved that they can beat any opposition. But I don't think India has not gained much from IPL, but Bangladesh has used BPL very well.

Yes I also think that BPL has helped the Bangladesh Players to play such a great game consistently in the series by beating India, Sri lanka and then good performances against Pakistan by getting beaten by 15 runs in first match and by just 2 runs in the final. By playing in the BPL they have come to know how they can accelerate in the crunch time and get runs quickly and which was seen in the finals that they wanted 85 runs in 10 overs and they narrowed it to 4 runs needed of 1 ball. Its really good to see they are playing good cricket and I had faith on this team for many years and I can see now that it could be a new beginning to the Bangladesh cricket.
