Some people, they judge a person by the dogs they have. Pure breed or street dog? But at the end of the day, what is important is the bond, loyalty and friendship shared between the master and the pets. The rest, it does not really matter.

hi there.. you know what.. the answer is depend on who will take care of the dog... sometimes people want their dog to have a breed so that they can proudly say that they can afford to have that kind of breed... it tells about leisure of a certain people... but why we want a dog? is it be in a higher social status or to have a friend? a trusted friend? if you'll have a breed dog, you're the one who will secure them co'z you know how much he's cost.. if you'll have a street dog, they're the one who will secured your safeness... i don't have a grudge or discrimination about dogs but i don't like the feeling of people discriminating those man's best friend... breeds doesn't matter.. and sometimes street dogs can change your whole life.. check the story of kabang in the internet .. a street dog who lose her upper mouth just to saved her master's daughter and niece..you will be inspired about street dogs... i hope, after reading this... you'll love MORE your dog whatever breed he was...

I totally agree about that. stray dogs are usually more protecting than breed dogs, it has to be that they easily return the love you show them.

because stray dogs don't get much petting that's why they build some responsibility in their characters.. in my humble opinions, dogs are like people, once you spoiled them, they're the masters.,...

I think that what matters the most is how faithful is your dog and how good you raise it :) My first dog was a street dog and he was faithful and I never had any troubles. My second one is "a little more pure breeded", since I got from an aunt's housedog, isn't any different.

Hiya stardust, She is your Dog and that is all what matters really. Whatever other people think is not important at all. All my life I have had Dogs of 57 varieties (mixed breeds) and they always have resulted the best friends for me and were very smart ones too in particular one called Toby he lived till he was 18 years old he was a gorgeous copper colour mixed breed I did not care about that he was a wonderful Dog as well. From the time he could open his eyes he would dash off into the Snow to play with me. Alas for me they had him adopted to another House but they did look after him well. Have had pure bred Dogs as well and the best one to yet was Shep a Border Collie and he lived 18 and a half years of love and vitality and he would play all day long almost right to the end of his life. She sounds such a lovely little thing the way you describe her as well.xxx
