Has anyone ever played Townian?

Hello MyLotters, has anyone here ever played Townian?
Its a browser based game where you create your own town or kingdom and you can make money based on your kingdom's resources.
You build everything in your kingdom, from mills to military buildings and through these you get resources. And in turn, you can cash these resources out for real money. And you don't have to be online 24/7 to play. Your townsfolk would do all the work and your money or gold will pile up.
I think its cool. I like building things much less a kingdom. :)
What do you think of this game? Would this game become bigger and better as time goes by? I think it has promise.

No, but I already signed up for townian and yes it is a simplified version of Evony. Every game like Townian and there like 100's if not thousands, all are based after Evony. At least Townian pays unlike all the other versions. It would be nice if some people would come out with some different ideas instead of just copying.

Well, the site was just being created last month, so no wonder if it's not popular yet.
I am not sure whether we can really earn money from this site, as it's really a new site.. 
By the way, have you ever played Travian or TribalWars? I believe they have same game concept (except the real money :p) - and I have to say that this is quite addictive.
I pass. I don't want to be too much addicted in a game :P.

Yes, that's the theory :p.
In fact, several years ago when I played Travian, I have to check my village every one hour or so to defend mine from attack, lol.
I also eager to build resource as soon as possible, so I checked it frequently to check whether I'm being eligible to build another resources.
So, for now, I will say no to this kind of game, lol.

Games that are supposed to earn for me seem to be rather slow earning. I do not really play online games much. I see that this discussion was started 9 months ago, so how did that game turn out for you?

I have got addicted to this strategy game since joined it last month. When they provided bonus for members who purchase soldiers I bought 80 spear men with only 2 bucks. Without army i get attacked easily and much of my resource is raided.

I like this game too I want to make some money to upgrade my account to be premium and I have some soldier.
