All I know is that, when someone is courting or owing a lady, the guy always gifted the lady with chocolates and flowers. Maybe chocolates makes a lady fall in love with the guy (hahaha)

Hi vertu007,
That rings true to me. I think it's because love is emotionally satisfying and, for those of us who enjoy the taste of chocolate, the taste of chocolate is emotionally satisfying.
That might also explain why there are so many women who love chocolate. Women can become hungry for love, especially, if they're stuck in an emotionally empty relationship.

No, disagree, how could you compare falling in love with eating chocolate. when you fall in love, you could hardly sleep, your whole body does not feel the same. Sometime you forget to eat, while eating chocolate, you just feel good and satisfied. Maybe when you are in love you eat more chocolate, that is much more sense to me, since I love chocolate and still in love.
