Hello to all, I just want to know how would you determine in a small office if you have an email server.. provided that you have your windows 2003 Server. And we are currently using e-mail outlook. But when i check inside the windows 2003 server, I cannot see the email server. Is it possible that our e-mail server are on the internet? because we are using "company.com" We are only small company so we do not have any IT personnel here.. and I want to make the e-mail message limit into 20mb. how can i do that d i need to log on to our "companyname.com"? thank you for your reply.

It is possible, if you have not installed and configured your server for mail, and it is the case, you have not added email addresses directly on the Windows 2003 server. Read here how to do it : http://www.it-notebook.org/uncategorized/article/email_server_win_2003.htm I cannot tell you who you should contact if your email is online. It is often not possible to do it with an email provider, but you can always install a filter on every computer to reject emails weighting more than x Mb.

It is possible. You can configure outlook with any email server you want, and I have no talent for divination : you have to check yourself the pop3 service properties of your server to find it -- Start - Programs - Administrative Tools - POP3 Service --.
