Can you believe that it is almost over

I have been watching OTH since day one. I felt like they had a great storyline for a long time. I was mad when Lucas and Peyton left though because the show seemed to go downhill. their storylines started grasping at everything. Now it's the last season and they are finally back on track. I felt like this was the best season that they have had in a long time. Dan dying really got me. I never thought they would kill him off, but I am glad to that they finally put some closure to the whole Keith incident. For once we were able to see a more human side to Dan instead of an Evil side.
I really hate that the show is ending right as it is getting good again. With the direction they are going with the storyline now, I could keep watching it for more season. What do you think? Do you think the show redeemed itsself this season? Are you secretly hoping that CW will surprise all of us and keep the show on?

This final season was, without a doubt, the best season in a while! Probably ever since Peyton & Lucas left! Every single episode had me in tears. And, I was SOOOOO mad that they killed Dan off! I was secretly hoping that at the very end, Keith would tell him to go back and be with his family & they'd reunite later! And, then, they'd all live happily ever after and then they could finish the season off with a good Dan instead of an evil Dan... and he'd reconcile with Lucas & they'd move back to Tree Hill! One Tree Hill was absolutely, positively my favoritest show EVER!

I have ranked all your posts I've come across with replying but I have to make an exception here.
OTH should be put out to pasture IMO. The show was never the same since Lucan and Peyton left. I like Brooke as much as anyone but she was not enough to carry the show. Yes, Haley and Nathan are chopped liver :P
