The Pirate Ship

I finally got the pictures of the play my son was in and I just had to share this picture of the pirate ship that in reality, everyone had a hand in making, but it was my husband's idea. My husband, younger son, and I all did some of the painting, the cutting was done by my husband, and the set up and detail work was my older son and husband. The flags on the red curtain was not what we made, but the ship, including the anchor on the right and lantern on the left, were all what my husband put together. I also took this picture with the panorama feature on my camera, because as you can see, it was the full length of the stage. I don't know if my husband will continue to volunteer to make props like this, but my son has got the "acting" fever and said he is going to be in every play the school puts on.
