with easter coming up, what are your plans, we will probably have a big dinner at my husbands mom's house but we wont be hiding any eggs as all my kids are grown and teenagers and too old for that. just wondering Are you going to or having an Easter egg hunt?

I probably won't be painting eggs and having an egg hunt. But I will bake some cookies for sure and have a nice dinner with my family. Easter Monday is the day here when following the tradition, boys visit families, and sprinkle the girls with water or cologne, so they won't "wilt" . Sprinkling sometimes means being bathed with a whole bucket of water Originally the boys get painted eggs, lately they get chocolate eggs, some food and drink... smaller kids collect some money too.

Sprinkling monday is a tradition in Hungary, though I always tried to escape from it and go hinking or having picnic with the family. I know it would be the best to spend this time of the year with family... this is the first time after a few years that I spend Easter together with mine. Have a great night to you too!

hi laken02. i'll most likely go easter egg hunting with my daughter at our local parish. it'll be the first for her so hopefully, it turns out well and she finds a lot of easter eggs. i always look forward to introducing my daughter to new activities like this. when i was a kid, i never really liked participating in easter egg hunts. it was never my cup of tea. i'd tell my daughter about the easter egg hunt and see if it drums interest in her part. either way, i'm sure it'll be a great father-daughter bonding activity for us. cheers and happy mylotting!!!

Our church will have a big Easter Egg hunt Saturday with lunch afterwards. My boys are actually to old to hunt the eggs but they have the youth group hide them for the little ones to find. They also like to help our neighbors little ones find the eggs. Then Sunday it will early church service, then a large meal with friends. Our family lives in a different state.

We don't do egg hunting during easter because we don't do that here in our country.Though maybe some people here are already practicing that, but most of us are not use to it.But I find it interesting and want to try it even just for once.Happy easter in advance.

I have no small kids and even my grandson is only turning one this may. But it's a lot of fun specially if the egg has a big reward on it. Happy Easter to you in advance.

This will be my second year having Easter with my boyfriends family,we travel to Alabama to meet up with his family and all together there is like 8 kids or more..So last year we did have an Easter egg hunt two actually..we just unloaded the eggs and reloaded them again for a second go around. I'm pretty sure we will have another one this year..after all kids are only kids for so long,so we try to have as much fun as possible on holidays like this!! You could always do an Easter egg hunt for the adults! just think of other things to put in them Easter eggs instead of candy..You could probably have some fun with it! especially if you got any family who like to celebrate the holidays with a stronger drink then tea LMFAO! Have a wonderful Easter!! egg hun or no egg hunt:)

We will be going to my mil's for Easter and then we will take our 2 year old to a huge Easter egg hunt thrown by friends. This will be the first year for this. Our friend hides 800 eggs and has several people over for this event. I hope Lil Keith had a ball. The rest of the family are too old for egg hunts here as well.

My grandchildren are also too big for an egg hunt and the smallest is too small. So I imagine that this year we won´t have an egghunt in the family either. I was thinking about going to the beach with some friends, but my friend has a bothersome cold so I don´t know if we´ll go or not.

We are going to play Easter egg hunting in our Parish on the day of Easter. We do not play this game at home. It is very thrilling especially for children. All the children of our Parish are so happy on this day, because of Easter Egg Hunt. Each country has its own special tradition and rituals, but one central custom is the Easter egg. Traditionally, real egg, either raw or boiled were beautifully painted or colored in different hues and placed in baskets or nests made of straw. They were hidden in various places and an egg hunt was organized. This slowly paved the way for chocolate eggs, of which some were hollow and others filled with other sweets.

Friday i will hopefully be taking my kids to our church to the easter egg hunt there. they usually have "the easter bunny" stop by they have a coloring contest ans many more games and drawings for prizes and then the easter egg hunt. the hunt is a lot of fun and if you get a number in your egg you get a bigger prize. we have gone the past 3 years and my kids enjoy themselves a lot. Saturday i may be going to another one but that is not definate yet. Sunday i am hoping to have a small one here at my house for the kids when they wake up in the morning but we may include our neighbors little girl so they will all have more fun :) then i will have 3 places to go for dinner (if all places have something or not) usually my husbands mom in the am my other grandmas for lunch an my grandmas for dinner. then we always have easter egg hunts and most of those places :) it will be a very long tiring day but my kids will have a blast and it is a great time to spend time with family :)
