Can you recommend any facial wash or facial foam or facial scub which can help in repairing damage face skin and pimple scars? Which is very effective in removing blackheads and pimples? My face has now less pimples and blackheads since i am using nivea facial foam for men but i am much very conscious with the pimple scars it made. In addition, due to many blackheads in the past, it leaves small holes in my face. They say that facial foams can help in reducing them. But now, i would like to see some recommendations from you fellow mylotters. :) .

an awesome face wash for clearing the skin is oatmeal, because it is a natural exfoliant, also sugar in water works awesome.

oipolloi! Yes I agree with you...that oatmeal is awesome for clearing scars. Yes I tried it once but was a bet messy, though we have to sacrifice if we want to have a clear skin.

I also tried oatmeal with honey as facial mask leaving it for 15 minutes. After I wash my face it feels really smooth and it moisturizes my face. Honey also helps fading acne scars.

Hi! We have same problem but now I have less scars and blackheads. What I did was mixing sugar and lemon juice/calamansi together, then gently massage to your face before taking a bath around 15-30 minutes. For me it works! It lessen my scars and have less break out. If you want to take vitamins...I'm using VIGOR ACE....it has vitamin A,C and E which is essential for skin repair.

hi desacordova You can also try out Gram Flour (In India we call it Besan) with cream of milk. It is a good scrubber and gets the oily smegma out easily leaving the pores open. Just be careful not to venture out in direct sunlight immediately after using coconut water or even this Gram Flour thing as you might get sun burns. And also do not use any other cream or lotion right after their use. Also you can use cold water to rinse off the above two, that helps in tightening the skin - to keep you away from wrinkling. Hope you return and read this and find it useful dear.

Well, the holes in your skin are just pores, you can buy pore minimizing products (washes, lotions, masks, etc). As to your scars, I have read that olive oil is good at reducing them. Look into that and see if it would work for your skin type. Also try a lemon and sugar scrub on your face. All you do is get some lemon juice (best fresh, so if you could buy a few lemons and juice them, keep them in the fridge, that'd be good). Then just dip cotton balls in the lemon juice, put some sugar on top, and scrub it on your face. I usually use 3 cotton balls for one scrub. First one for one side of my face, second for the other side, and then third on the whole face. ***Only do this about once every month to once every couple weeks.*** Make sure this won't irritate you too much. And be sure to moisturize well when doing this. Good luck!

I am not quite sure when it comes to the scars, but dove bar soap (just plain no scent) helps with keeping acne away and making your skin smooth. It will prevent scars as it will take the pimples away. You have to use it as a mask though, and keep it on over night, but that shouldn't be a problem?

When I was stuck with Chicken Pox it had left so many scars - I know these were happening because I scratched the boils but then, scars are scars. The way I tried treating them effectively was - using coconut (the green ones) water as my face wash. Do not use any soap when using this coconut water as it in itself is a good cleanser. Wash at least about 4 times a day - and at least after getting up and before going to bed. It will take about 6 months depending on the kind of scars you have. The Facial Creams, gels etc are all commercial and will do No good except make you bankrupt and make you fall in the trap - you start getting addicted to them.

I would suggest that you consult a dermatologist. I do have acne scars too. I believe that they are permanent unless you undergo a certain procedure. I don't think that there are facial foams out there that can remove the scars. Also, try to use some pore minimizer and a toner for a smoother looking skin.
