well i have been on mylot all morning or most of it.. had alot of fun. but its time for me to get off here and go do my daily house work.. i know if i dont get off now that i will end up sitting here and not get anythign else done.. my lot does that too me its so addicting.. but i want to get my house in order. im starting with my living room im gonna de clutter it and get rid of alot of stuff.. my friend will be happy today as she will get it all.. im hoping it wont take me all day to do. im doing one room at a time, today the living room tomorrow the kitchen.. and lord help me when i get to the spare bedroom or should i say junk room.. but one thing at a time.. i once learned that from a nice guy he said just slow down and take one thing at a time.. and finish it first..good advice i have kept forever.. so by next week my house should look alot different and hopefully my hubby will be alot happier..who does'nt love a clean home.. have fun today mylotters in what ever your doing whether it be inside on the computer or outside or at work i wish everyone a great and happy day.. thanks for reading my posts..

i agree with what that guy said - we are only human and can only do so much (and there's no point in getting overwhelmed). I try to ration out my housework throughout the week so I'm not bombarded. I do my dad's laundry on Mondays usually, mine on Tuesday or Wednesday, do dishes as they get dirty (best way to do things - ever) and then spend one evening a week CLEANING cleaning. It's been working out... I love a clean house. Otherwise things just feel so messy/cluttery/etc, which is totally distracting!

you are so right, yesterday i may have over done it a little ,as i started feeling a little stressed.. and ended up taking extra on my medication , that and getting just a little sleep kinda got too me.. as sleep is very important to my health..so i get that messed up and i get very sick.. so i have one more stressful appointment i have to go to tomorrow, and then after that i can settle down and hopefully get more sleep.. my husband even came home and he did notice the house work i had done and i know he appreciated it and saw all my hard work i told him i would do our kitchen (declutter) tomorrow and he said ok but just dont over do it and do too much hun.. and so today did not go as planned i still have not got my dishes done.. let alone the delcutter becasue i just felt like i needed sleep more so i did take a long nap.. but now i still feel tired.. and dont feel the greatest i will do my dishes in a few and then hubby will be home and i may go to bed.. i do hope i can sleep tonight.. i really like the way you do things and your cleaning routine.. i may try and do something similar see how that goes.. just might work out for me as well. thanks maezee great ideas take care..

It is always nice to clean all the rooms in the house and getting rid of the unimportant stuff that you don't need. When I do this, it's like a reboot to my life, like my brain is telling me that I am restarting. The best feeling, of this kind, is when I move furniture around the house, so I can really clean the places I cannot reach and I see a better position for the couch or for the bed. People actually make an art from stuff like this.

i use to do that move furniture around alot when we had a bigger house would drive my hubby nuts lol.. he would get so mad... somtimes he would insist i change it back and i would.. i remember once i move a big huge computer desk in our house now in the living room and it is already not small but not huge in here either but that was a pain to move from the bedroom to the living room and he came home and i had it in front of the window and he got so mad.. but he said ok leave it.. and i won that one.. so later i wanted a change and i ended up giving it to my friend who loved it.. but i see now it is much better not in here as more room and i can see out my window.. so lol hubby was right as usual.. take care and enjoy the day

Oh lord it'd take an army and the hoarders team to get this house in order. Not to mention the mess of things, there is also a lot of things that need to be repaired. I've had to move back in and all I want to do is move out. Good luck with your cleaning and wish you a happy time doing it. Trust me if I could clean everything here it'd take me about a month of two of spending every day off work.

well it did not take as long as i thought and it looks good it being my living room im decluttering one room at a time.. so once i got rid of the junk i realized how nice it can look.. and now it will be a breeze to dust and vaccumn daily.. so im on to the kitchen tomorrow.. of course i still have some laundry and a few odd jobs left tonight but im happy in the least ..as i know my husband will be pleased too.. take care and thanks for commenting.. have a great rest of the day :)

I always get distracted when I am on the computer as well. Because I work from home, it is always far too tempting to sit on the internet and earn some money instead of doing the things that need to be done around the home, because I know that I wouldn't get paid for that at all. I find it helpful to get everything done that needs to be first thing in the morning after breakfast, and then I will start my work around 9am when everything is done. Then I can fit everything in alongside a full working day, which is great for me.

its gret that you have a plan that works..im starting to get mine together, i got my living room looking good and once i got rid of the junk it looks amazing and very clean , hubby will think he is at the wrong house lol.. but my plan is different as i will do mylot when i first get up, now that im getting up early, do mylot while hubby is asleep, then i have to fix his lunch and do dishes.. so i dont start my house work until 2 .. after he leaves for work.. then if i start at 2 on the dot and work and get it all done, the list .. then later i still have time for mylot walking and tv.. so i got alot done today.. all around my dog loved her walk but we did not get far it was way to hot.. infact im still hot thank god i have air cond..thanks for posting and keep up the goood work..

Hahaha...Hey the house will still be standing even when your gone, that's my motto, says me that's has a mop glued to her hand..lol With children and animals its a never ending cycle :0) I call my laundry basket a genie basket as soon as washing gets to bottom it magically re-appears again!
