I made myself an ebay account. I saw the phone I wanted and the bid was at $57.00. It's now at $61.00. I opted to watch it, I won't bid until there is like 10 seconds left, and that is only if the bid hasn't gotten to far. I already know I won't bypass $75.00. Also, I looked at the rating of the seller etc, the phone has scratches but they aren't bad and you can see the phone on with the scratches. I'll be looking for buy it now prices for the phone too. Doing specific searches and researching deep too. Wish me luck. Signed up on Ebay April 3, 2012. Are you an ebay-er?

I bought an android tablet instead. I basically wanted a little computer and so the android tablet does that. I think the next time I buy from ebay I'll make sure I have the funds in paypal to cover it directly instead of using my bank account. It turned into a bit of a headache.

I have been an eBayer for about a year! At first I signed up just to buy things very sporadically. I bought a Polaris winter jacket (snowmobile jacket - super cute, pink and black-colored) for $200 and some dollars (it was my 'splurge') a few years back. I still have it and wear it when it's super cold. Then I bought a taser, which is fun. And then I bought something else. I just started SELLING things - after never having done this - and it's been about a month now (and I've made on the upper side of $250, which is sweet . I have been trying hard not to buy anything though (just because I am trying to save up money to pay off bills, with whatever I earn on eBay). I would definitely suggest selling stuff! I mean, I only went through my closet for older clothes and that's how I made so much. (And it's funny because most of the stuff sold for more than I paid for it to begin with - I thrift shop). Anyway, yes I can say with total confidence I am totally addicted to eBay! Definitely an eBay-er! The best thing to do like you said is wait until last minute to bit. Unless there is a Buy it Now option that isn't too expensive. (Usually it's quite ridiculous though). It's crazy how everything and I mean EVERYTHING happens at last minute. It can get quite intense with bidders in the last hour or so. Best of luck to you!

I bid and won something just a few minutes ago that I am excited about. I did not win what I originally bid on but that's only because I didn't realize there was a confirm bed step. My anxiousness about the site is now gone and I can't wait to recieve my order. I splurged, I should not have gotten it but it will pay for itself in the long run. I have plenty I could sell I am sure of it, I just have to look through my stuff.

I joined ebay to buy something. The fact I mentioned reviews at all is to say that I looked at the seller's feedback rating.

It always thrills me to see others getting into the mood of buying and selling at eBay. I have been an eBayer for years. It started with curiosity until it became a habit that turned into an obsession. There was a time in my life that everything was just all about eBay. Not only was I a frequent buyer of online stuff posted at our local eBay site but I started selling items online as well. I digged through my old books, cds and what-have-you and just sold them online. I thought to myself, 'what have I got to lose?' No sooner had I started posting my items online than I received immediate queries about the stuff I was selling. I became even more aggressive to sell not only my personal stuff but also invested in other items which I thought were marketable at that time. So I proceeded to scout in retail stores items at dirt-cheap rates and sell them at eBay for a profit. Getting into eBay is fun whether you're a buyer or a seller. It's addicting actually. Enjoy your day.

I may eventually get into the selling side of things. For now I am enjoying just being a buyer. I can't wait until the purchase I made gets here, and in the future when I need or want something else I'll go with Ebay. I saved so much compared to other sites, it's ridiculous.

No I am not an ebay-er neither do I have an account. The deal seems good to me and I can only wish you luck. $ 61 dollars is also a good price but sooner all later the price might be beyond $75. The time is now if you do not have a problem with the scratches on the phone.

I didn't get it, I ended up getting the tablet instead. Ebay is a scary place but aslong as you know how to work the site and find the best deal... I'd rather do the "buy it now' price as compared to having to do an auction, but well sometimes you have to do... I won the auction of the tablet. Paid a little more then what I would have liked but still saved a lot of money.

I'm not sure I'd call myself an ebayer, but I've bought a few things from ebay. I haven't had any bad experiences yet.

I have an account. I have stuff I need to sell. I have never done it, lazy, I guess. I bought something once for a friend because she and her husband are afraid to put their details online. I was happy with what I got.

I may sell things on there eventually, maybe once I move, who knows. I am happy with what I ordered, though I've not received it yet I am sure I will still be happy. I'll be buying from ebay again.

It's my favorite place to shop! I have bought almost all my computers there. The one I'm using now is the IBM T42. I payed $149.00, with free shipping. I love it! I also got some of those magic sponges - 50 for $11.00, again, free shipping. I've also got good deals on razors, a techniques turntable and many other things.

i didn't realize there was a confirm bid so didn't win on one. Now I'm waiting on tablet. There was one bid already, I wanted to see if they were watching it so I made a bid. They are. I won't go over $53.00 on this, so I'm going to wait until there is 35 seconds left I think.

I never really looked on the site, but I did kind of more so today. I am glad I got what I did and it will come in handy. It serves it's purpose. I wanted a droid and now I have it in tablet form.

Good luck! I always did that I remember when I still have my ebay account. I always pick the one with the last few minutes left before the bid was closed. That was a fun experience, and that depends on your strategy to getting it. I wasn't that lucky as always. Sometimes, the other bidders gave up, and I won. Sometimes, I just forgo it because the biding price getting beyond my budget.

I was sitting there wondering what the strategy of the other seller was, but then I figured he wouldn't go over fifty and I was right, I won it by going over fifty. I am happy. I worry about how I'll do in auctions too though, that's why this was my first.

Many years ago I was introduced to eBay by a friend as a place to have a "garage sale". Since I could not have a real garage sale (lived in an apartment) then, I decided to check it out. I found out it's a great site to find good bargains too. And once I made my first sale, I was hooked. Enjoy & best of luck to you.

I am already hooked, but it won't be something I use too too much. Though the next time I want a good deal like I got yesterday I'll be going back.

Wow! Good deal. I am an ebayer but usually just sell things on there, once in a great while will buy something if I really need it. Good luck, I hope you get the phone quickly. If I sold phones it could have been a purchase from me, but it wasn't.

Well I didn't win the bid on the phone but I did on something else that I posted about. It's just as good as the phone versus this item (that I posted about on another discussion) was just a if not that then this type deal.
