Is Hollywood going too far? They always make a movie in the heat of what's happening. Michael Jackson's case wasn't even over yet when they released "This is it" and many weren't even paying attention to Michael before his death. Do you think they are using everything to make money? They do a remake of an old and good movie all the time, famous people die and they come up with a new movie... I think it's a little disrespectful, if I was a relative of someone who just died I wouldn'r allow a movie, I wouldn't give the rights for at least 5 or 10 years.

I think you should have positive point of view. Most of the movie about personal figure always contain message. For example is someday Hollywood make people about Whitney Houston, not only fans but the world will memorize one of best singer in the world that have glamourous career and life but then fall into deep just because her own mistakes. People will take it as the lesson. and if the movie is about Steve Job, all of us know that Steve Job is great person with great personality that make people will take him as the example and learn from him. we know, Steve inspired many people and spread the positive thing. I guess there's nothing wrong with that. that's not bad idea...

I am not surprised to hear that. After all, this is the style of Hollywood. As long as they expect that the story can make a movie receives lots of tickets, then they will invest to make such kind of movie. I think it is alright. Perhaps some Steven Jobs's friends also like to watch it. I love China

Hey there katie, well everything is about the money this days, and i know that is not right but for some if they can earn a lot then they will do whatever they can to do so even though this will be disrespectful and i think sometimes families also do allow this so that maybe in there minds this honors the person that past away and sadly some other families are just in it for the cash to, sadly.

As other mylotters have mentioned above, the main reason most of time is to make money. Most of the time they think only of making as much money as they can and only think about the profit they can make in whatever way it is possible. But, sometimes it is interesting to watch some of these biographies of these famous people...

It's true that some people make money with it. I don't think it's disrespectful. I think that some of those people only want to make public some things in his life an honor him. Personally I'm curious and I would like to see this movie.

I think one of the reasons is money but surely there are other reasons for this. I am quite looking forward to this since Steven obs is very famous and I have read a brief biography of him, dropping out of school and stuff but then he became successful. This movie might serve as an inspiration to all.

I think they just want to earn money because they know that Steve Jobs is famous around the world. It's a common strategy in Hollywood. They always make films that will be of interest to a large number of moviegoers. It's business after all.
