I am a person who doesn't like to publish our personal datas and photos on public. There are many sites including social networking sites who allows us to upload our details. According to the current system it is very risky and dangerous to upload the photos and details on net but still people do it and find fun on it. . Do you support this pratices? .Do you people used to upload your personal datas on net? . Don't you feel it as risky ? . Did any one blamed you by using your peronal data? . What is your personal experience regarding it ? . What are the problems you suffered when you upload yor personal datas?

It is just silly and thoughtless to publish personal data in the Net. It may seem harmless now but it may not be so later on. I think most people who do that are youngsters who don't feel that their data is precious enough to guard well. When they get older, when they have a job, and when they have a credit card, only then they will realize the seriousness. Let's hope their naivety now won't cost them so dear a price later on.

Of course I won't allow my kids to do that but I don't really have the means to "allow" or not to "allow" as they are all quite independent-minded. I did discuss with them about the topic and we share quite similar conclusions. However, the level of privacy is different with everyone. One would think that sharing a birthday party photo in FB is ok. Another would think that a birthday party photo is too private to share. So the line is different individually. But surely no one should share his credit card number and PIN openly!

I don't trust to put my personal information and what little personal information that I put on the Internet back in the day where I was young and a bit naive, I regret it. I just really do hope that it does really not come back to bite me. Granted, it wasn't as much as many do, but still, best to be paranoid. That's the only way you are going to get out of this life alive. I will say that uploading your personal photo is just asking for trouble. Of course, I never would have uploaded my personal photo online for many reasons. I do miss the days of the Internet, where everything was more mysterious and private, where only a fraction of people were online. As someone who was on the Internet before being on the Internet was cool, its growth and it becoming acceptable, really has opened up a great deal of problems, as people have no concept of privacy. Back in the day, it was rather taboo to post your real name online. Now people are sharing personal information. Just shows you things have changed. For the better? I doubt it.

Well nowadays is very dangerous to share all kind of information for yourself, but almost everyone are doing it. I think that internet could be very very dangerous and I don't think that anyone wants to be like a book, who can be red by everyone who can just use internet. If you can't not sharing your pictures and other personal information that's your choice, but my advice is to be wise and don't upload things that can be used against you. Remember that internet is very dangerous place.

I try not to use too much of my personal data but as far as my picture goes...I don't mind it here. I have my facebook blocked so that all someone can see is my picture if they are not friended. I don't just friend everyone either. I am very uncomfortable with purchases online if I am not using Paypal. I like to always try and use that if I am making a purchase.

uploading pictures is okay for but as long as I know that it is a decent one, but sharing a personal info is not, I am afraid of identity lost and poser, there were lots of crooks waiting to reveal what we are and what we have and attack in very vulnerable state, they can even destroy our character by using our personal info as if it was theirs. Extreme care of sharing these info must be exercise.

Aha.. kind of surprising found someone who has similar concern about posting private data online as I do. Most of the reason of I don't join facebook is FB want to know every single business we did and do and I really don't like that. with hackers everywhere on the net space I don't feel safe to share any private data on public. I used to work on server. I watched every single thing that the employees did on their computer, more or less I knew everyone secret without they realize that because I knew what they were doing in front of their computer. So this experience makes me very careful with what I am putting on my online profile especially with our technology that much advance today?? I think simply I say NO for posting private data on public.
