I have seen in a magazine a long time ago of an item that is in the design of a sling, for like a broken/sprained arm, you wear it exactly like that as well but you carry a baby in it instead.. it cuddles the baby to the mother plus it helps with the weight in your arms.. I would love to get one for my niece whose due in September... anyone know what this product is called?

There are different types of baby carriers. We have front carriers which are usually very intimate types of carriers and then we have the sling carrier which looks more like an arm sling. This is meant for baby’s that are really small about o to 3 months. As they get heavier and active, it becomes hard to carry them using the sling then you can change to the front carrier.

Balboa Baby Adjustable Sling they sell them online at Target. It sounds like what you are describing. Thats my best guess if I could figure out how to upload a picture I would upload one but I'll work on it. :) Hope this helps.
