I want to create my own website for selling, and introducing the products I am about to sell. I thought about use google free web, and I also suggested by some random people look into joomla, one of free open source content management software online. I just have no experience with joomla, and I just need some more information about this Open Source software; how do I use it to accommodate my web if I am going to create one. Any suggestion here?

http://www.joomla.org/about-joomla.html I wouldn't say joomla would be your #1 choice for a e-commerce site. But then again, people said flash would never be a huge website tool either and look at it now. That link should tell you everything you need to know about it as that would be your first step, knowing the tools. http://virtuemart.net/ VirtueMart seems to be somewhat popular with e-commerce & joomla. Maybe you could look into options like that for the e-commerce side of things. There is a demo site or two there to let you look at the way it will work and so on as a e-commerce site. I think you need to decide if you'd rather have a e-commerce site or a website that will list goods along with a 'checkout' option. You could of course have a main site and then have a store as part of the hosting / domain. What I mean is www.kingparker.com / www.store.kingparker.com for example. Goodluck

joomla is one of the best open source content managment vailable but yes you need a bit to setting up and undestand it or better customize for your needs!!in reality if you think build using a content management softwares it takes a little bit more but you can mangage your site really easy when your work is finished so to understand how to use joomla you must read and proof their tools using the joomla guides released from the joomla community in the majority of cass this are the way to learn to use it and so take advantage of this insturment for your website!!

I have never heard of that site before. But I just looked at it and it looks very interesting. I bookmarked it and I will take a look at it at another time.
