As everybody knew I been out for almost 3 days for vacation to visit my daughter and my grandson. I came back last Sunday but with a terrible head ache because of the hot weather in the big city. I want to go online and visit my e-mails and even mylot but I can't the ache is almost faint me out and can't go up. I almost slept all day yesterday and now that I'm quite okay, I was shocked my mails are almost over flowed specially from mylot and other site that I joined too. I have to sit all day to finish it because I know every now and then there will be up coming e-mails. I hope I can finish trough out the day. I have to respond most of the interested topics too because I missed mylot and I hate it I have no discussion 3 days in row. How you manage cleaning up your mails?

Cleaning up emails is not really a burden to me. There are many times that my unread emails went up to hundreds but most of them are just notifications and emails which are not really important from the sites that i registered to. Most of the time, i just scan my email if there is something interesting but if not, i will just automatically select all unread emails and delete them. That is how i manage my email.

yes. that is the way. to delete u wanted mails. also keep aside what is required. it is like travelling in a train-- if we carry limited luggage we will have less worries. if we take more and more luggage then problems also will be more. Take important ones -- they may be a few and keep them separately.

I clean my mails every 3 months. Not weekly but I think every few months. I'm too lazy to do that often. And it's too many if I clean it everyday. I want to always have a general cleaning once every few months.

If it gets to be too many I just delete. I pick out at least one from each of my friends to respond to and just dump the others....

The easiest solution is to create a folder for Mylot and set the settings so that all email from Mylot goes to that folder. That way, you don't have to clean your email every now and then.

One of the way is to search according to the topic and deleting them bulky. I used to search the mails according to the user or particular subject and deleting bulky after just going through them roughly and knowing what are important mails and what are not important mails. I think you should try to delete the mails like this. I think this works well in gmail.

Oh, I've been in that same situation before. Back then, I only had one email for everything - be it for work, personal or for whatever purpose. And not checking it even for just one day would really result in hundreds of mails in my inbox. It would take me almost the whole day just reading and sorting them. Now I have three email addresses I use - for work, personal and for online earnings. I found it to be more manageable even if I fail to check it for a day or two. But that's tops. More than two days and they overflow again . Try going mobile to check your mails daily. That helps too

I have 3 accounts but most of my important mails are all in my personal account, I do have my mobile too but since I went out and have some fun I can't manage to look up.

I have decided to put notice off to most of my friends and check them online at mylot. Before that I felt spammed and many times I lost important mails while I could retrieve all mylot´s work there.

this will be the case in case we have not been able to log in to our mail account for three or four days. after that prioritise. Decide which are the discussions you would like to respond and take them to a separate folder and you can answer at your convenience. Hope you had nice time with your grand children? have a nice day.
