Dear fellow Mylotters. I write this review just in the section "Make extra money" in order to know your point of view, inherently to paid surveys. I live in Italy, so that when have only writing to one of these (for which it operates only in Italy) called "Mister Panel". I find this interesting, although rarely provides surveys to complete, mostly because it rewards you with telephone recharges. Also a part of the proceeds is donated to charity and only for this reason I think that is a panel seriously. Very often, even here on Mylot, I have heard of many people who participated in the survey, but monetizing, I was never explicitly said if in the end, it's worth it. I am right now and I say clear, I'm not interested in entering the world of the polls, but I would like to know if you think it is really worth in economic terms, or, better do not?

If you are not in USA, UK, or Canada, then you should really forget earning with survey sites. Most surveys, even that the sites accept all country, are only available there. Although people could get some surveys outside the said countries, our earning will still be limited and not enough to be paid out.

Hello nahtan09, I do agree that geographical location makes a difference, but then your personal profile, expertise areas also matter a lot. Even though I live in India, I get good surveys often and have also been getting money and other rewards from them.

It is only worth it if you live in the US. As Peter said most are scam. But if you belong to the right ones, you could make a decent amount of money. Mathematically i calculated that if i did 1 survey from each of the legit sites i belong to, I would make about $200-$300 a month. The Problem is you need to belong to at least 3-5 websites. And the major issue in the end is, you still have to qualify. Another issue people have is with the point system many survey sites use. I don't because i find it fairly easy to accumulate enough points to cash out. And If you just get it in your head that points are really dollars, you wouldn't mind so much. For example if it takes 1000 points to cash out at 10 dollars on a particular site. Then every 100 point survey you do is equal to 1 dollar. Of course this sits better with you once you have cashed out a few times. But with all that being said. I would only suggest Surveys for US users. And people with a lot of time on there hands. Good luck alberello.

My math is based off of 1 survey from each site ***per day*** I accidentally left out a major detail there. So we are talking like 5 surveys per day at least. lol my mistake. :)

I think you can make money doing surveys, but I am not up to date on which sites are best or most dependable. The times I have done surveys proved to be more painful than I choose to endure. They go on and on and on, and they keep asking the same questions with slight changes in approach. When such surveys become unnecessarily long, I think they are losing the opportunity to get meaningful information.

i am in Canada so some of them are not open to me and i did do some for some time, but found it just was not worth my time, so i gave up. i just don't have a lot of spare time and i would rather do other things.

If you live outside of the USA or UK, surveys are just a joke. People from non-English speaking countries are NOT welcomed. The few that do sign up "anyone" are definitely scams. However, we can feel happy to be excluded as most American survey sites are scams anyway! We save ourselves a lot of torture.

I agree with petersum. Most of these survey sites are total scams and when they do pay you something, it is pennies and definetly not worth your time.

It is not bad. Some people love to express their opinions. I took many surveys through Amazon mechanical turk. It was fun in the beginning, but then I lost interest. The money coming from it was really good. But I noticed that one single mistake in the answer does make the entire survey go in vain. The maker simply rejects it. So huge amount of concentration is necessary to take them. I am not for it since I am a slow reader. I also noticed that many survey makers give more than 30 questions and for that we have go go from one page to another. I swear at one point, it feels tiring. Is it worth in economic terms? Those who do not have any other way to make money online will benefit from it. But they have to be very careful. There are some people who would pay only 5 cents for a 10 minutes survey. It is better to skip it for something better. Otherwise, it will be nothing more than a waste of time for a handful of peanuts.

Hello alberello, it's true you get little money from paid surveys, the only ones that pay in cash are the Global Test Market, Surveyhead and Mommy Talk Surveys. I have received cheque thrice from Global Test market and have only recently reached the minimum pay balance in Surveyhead, will be cashing out soon. These are legitimate and reputed survey sites and I get enough surveys from them even though I live in India. The other surveys mostly pay by online gift vouchers but I really don't mind that at all because I get to use those vouchers for stuff that I would not otherwise buy, even though i want them. The ones that are legitimate and honest paying sites are Toluna, The Panel Station, Valued Opinions, etc. and I have earned quite a few vouchers! So I am not really complaining about any of these survey sites!

Paid surveys somehow works but it depends on your location. Most of it, only USA members earn the most of it. I tried to regiter paid survey sites, but weeks pass by but nothing survey was offered to me so i just decided to leave that site. It is very hard to earn on paid survey sites when they only give you once a month, however, this do not a happen to me. Nothing a all.
