My internet connection is very slow

My internet connection is very slow for almost 2 weeks now. We complained many times and we even went to their office and told them to check our line and until now they didn't check it! And it happened for 4 days now that our internet connection is on and off or come and go, like this morning, we didn't have internet again and we couldn't call the customer service representative because we didn't have a dial tone! It is very hopeless! I don't know when are they gonna fix this thing. I just called them maybe 10 minutes ago, and they said the same thing they told me every time I called, like "Yes ma'am sorry for the inconvenient, we will let our technician to visit your place". They told me that many times already and nobody showed up! It is such a bad morning for me.

Weloome to the philippines. . I had that same problem some time ago this year. I called my provider. Nothing. I called again the next day. Nothing. I went to their customer support office and I told them my work requires me to be online, if I don't get paid for my work, how do you people think I can pay you for your crap service? they promised to get someone immediately in the next day. I went back again the next day and told them where's your promise. Finally the day after that the tech guy showed up and fixed the damn thing.and there's more of that from the last 5 years. This country is never gonna shape up to anything. Even if you switch to a different provider, sooner or later they will disappoint you. Just keep bugging them everyday, they hate that. If you have friends in the media, let them know of your problem. The media is a volatile tool to set these morons on fire and running for their money. Remember just keep bugging them. Lastly, find a really good and trsutworthy lawyer get his advice and sue them. I know I will one day when I can't take it anymore.

You are right wolweren. We have this problem for years now. They lie like a rug! They kept telling their customers that they will fix it soon but they didn't do anything! When their technicians come and fix the problem, it will work just for a couple of days and then it become slow again.

If I were you I would check into changing internet service providers because it's important to have good service. Tell them that an apology from them is NOT what you want. You want the problem solved. You can also threaten that you won't pay your bill until the problem is fixed. Don't pay for something you can't use. It's your way of making your point.

Sherrybelle, I called them again this morning coz we didn't have an internet since yesterday right after I posted this discussion. I went to their office yesterday and again, they told me that they will let their technician to come over my place. And i got angry. Yes, I will file a complaint against this and will not pay for atleast 2 weeks.

Hi chicgale, If your ISP still does not fix your slow connection I suggest you start thinking about changing to another provider that can provide a stable and consistent connection.

The other provider has a problem also that's why I switched on this one, and still has a problem. I even chose the higher speed which is more expensive. :-(

I understand your feeling because i used to be in that situation. Make many phone calls to them and ask them come and fix it directly. You can ask what time they do come to your house and repair it. When setting down a certain time, i think it maybe better and they will come on time to check it. Be happy, hope your internet is ok soon. Have a nice day!

maybe you should consider trying other internet companies...if they continue on doing the bad service then its better to change for good...

I have had a problem with my internet connections from various providers who charge low rates for slow internet speed and others who charge high rates for high internet speed. It’s actually boring especially when it comes and goes like its initiating a game. I pay more for convenient connections.
