What type of scents are you drawn to? (aka: Am I just weird?)

I'm pretty interested in others' tastes in perfumes, because nowdays I kind of feel that I'm the odd-one-out in girls, because really warm sweet scents (cotton candy, chocolate, cinnamon, coconut, honey, walnuts etc.) I only like in the kitchen but not as a fragrance. I see vlogs, forums, blogs, and all girls are like, this body butter/perfume/whatever smells so chocolate-y, it's sooo gooooood... and I'm like, I feel more and more weird because I don't like them :). I like my fruity scents (berries, citruses, apple, grapes) with a pinch of floral maybe... I'm actually really curious about guys' preferences in cologne (or women's perfume :D), and if you are content with the range of scent styles in male cologne... it seems all the same for me with some exceptions... so I'm interested in whether you feel the same or not :).

I love sweet fragrances. I love using colognes but they seem to lose scent faster, so nowadays I use perfumes.

I have the same problem about colognes and body splashes. They are really nice, because they aren't as heavy as perfumes, but they don't last that long.

I love the smell of lilacs. My favorite perfume is White Shoulders. I love how fresh the air smells after a summer rain.

I like Herby, Woody, Resinous, Earthy or very heady floral scents. I don't really like very synthetic or sweet scents as much.

I love herbal scents, too! Woody and earthy scents I usually wear when I go out, for the daytime they are too rich for me :). Thanks for the answer!

I love Pink happiness perfume on a girl. I swear I can walk into a club, and sniff a girl out who is wearing it. It just do something for me :)

Thanks for the answer. Sometimes it's really interesting what the opposite genders' colognes/scents can do for us. For me, on guys, it's a Tom Tailor cologne (I don't remember the name if it, just that it's in a green bottle, and one of the latest ones)... it has a really unique, kind of, I guess, fruity (like citrus or orange, maybe?... I'm awful at describing scents :D) undertone to it, but still masculine.

I do love mild scents because there are some scents that makes me feel dizzy sometimes especially while inside the bus travelling in a long trip.

Personally there are some Good smelling colognes for both men and women out there. The main issue people need to always remember is what smells good on one person does not always smell good on someone else, and NO cologne will cover up body odors from unwashed clothes or body. But I have always enjoyed some of the colognes like Obsession, Polo, Michael Jordan, English Leather, etc. on men. My husband usually wears Jordan.

I love perfume as it can last all day long and keep me from sweaty smell. For the scents, I am same as you. I like the fruity and the flowery one, which make me feel fresh and youth. Of course, I also like to pick the latest popular one.
