Hi , for everyone wondering about my new job.. i had at great day at work, did not even have trouble getting up early yea.. today was training so tomorrow im on my own
but i can handle it .. as it is a nice little job that i enjoy doing .. mostly just stocking and keepin coffee , juices, danishes , bagels, and premade gravy and biscuits full and stocked for all the hotel customers .. then at 9 i tear everything down and put it all away and clean.. what is neat is they also have a waffel station where the customers nmake there on waffels its neat.. i just keep it clean and well stocked.. also i can eat breakfast there as well for free. and my boss was so sweet and she joked all shift with me as she was training.. but now she wants me to work and extra hour so from 6-10 am fri, sat , sunday.. then im free all week cant beat it and hubby is so happy.. and the money will help as well..

Glad to hear you had a good day. SOmetimes those seem hard to come by so keep it in your mind. Your job does sound nice. And I love a good breakfast so that would be a nice plus. And to have a nice boss that likes to joke around. You really have found a gem in the jobs department. Money coming in and a fun job. Boy! You really lucked out.

yes i thinki did , i feel like it was God sent lol.. it fits me so perfect and im getting better every day at it.. and i still have all dat from 10 am on and off 3 days mon-wed, and getting lots of hours so equals better pay check yea. and get tips so cant beat that.. take care..

Wow congratulation my friend, I'm happy that you did fine at your first day. How I wish we have that kind of job here who offers a part time and you can earn just a few hours, and even not ask about the age. I'm still looking for a nice job even it is cleaning job is always fine with me but there are only hiring for younger ones.

We have the counter part of craiglist here in my place but most of don't offer a job like in the US. Who accept a part time that works only few hours, and never mind about the age.

there was a lady that came in to eat today and she was the last one to leave and we were talking and she said i love your hours and this seems like a great job i really like it and she said when i get back to florida where she was from she said im gonna go find me a job just like this one you have it made lol.. i love it becasue she is right.. and she was an older lady so there is hope for everyone
you just have to keep trying and dont give up.. i found this job on craigslist..

i ish you luck and hope you get a job if that is waht you want just keep looking i had alomost given up before i got this one i actualy e-mail him from the cl add and he first told me that he had already hired and thenn2 datys later he say he had someone get sick and quit and ask if i could do weekend shift i said yes and the rest is history just keep trying..

thanks so much for your encouragement i need it as well.. i love my job becasue pf alot of reason one im my own boss so to speak no boos hoovering over me, and telling me to hurry.. and i can do it, i get tips. and i take my breaks when i want and i eat when i want for free.. and i get to meet new people and make friends as well .. so i think its a keeper.. lol

That's great that you are making money and enjoying it at the same time! I think it's important to be able to enjoy what you are doing. You may meet people from all over the world too. and it's also cool that you get to eat free!! Anything that saves money is still "income" to me! lol... glad you are enjoying being out and working!!

yes things are going good for me now, maybe it can stay this way if i keep trying my best and keep working and taking care of myself and hubby and home cant forget them lol hubby is so happy im working i think he is proud of me.. but he wont tell
me until ive been there long time.. as for the past job i quit so soon but i really love this one and i can do it well..

thank it is a very nice job and i get tips so far 9.00 for 3 days.. my first tips ever so im happy .. and im loving getting off at 10 and still having the whole day to spend with my hubby and not be working all day .. it goes by so fast lol
just have to get use to getting up at 445.. am on my work days..and i still have mon, tue, wed off rest of the week..

i do enjoy it alot, i had a nice job like this once before working in a factory but i hated the rush as i was cook for the third shift factory workers and i had to also do the cahs register and alot od other stressful things as well becasue they onky had so long to eat in and i hated being rushed and it was on third so it messed up my sleeping so i now love this new shift 6-10 off mon-wed.. and i love not being rushed and its not stressful and i get tips yea..

Sounds like you have a great job.Thats the kind of job I would like to do,and have a boss like yours.I was working at the same place for 21 years and I finally quit. I was working at a college cleaning dorms. It was a lot of work college kids can be very dirty, I now have back problems from all the hard work i did all those years. Right now I am enjoying my free time.

i have not worked in about 3 years or longer and im glad to be out there again and finally doing something i like and can actualy do so it feels great and espically when others tell me i did a great job customers and my boss and 4.00 tip today

Well that sounds awesome. That sounds like something I would not mind doing for a sidejob, and it seems easy and fun. I've done that kind of stuff before, but a lot harder and a lot more work when I was a banquet server. It was long long hours. You're basically doing the same but at a smaller scale hotel and for continental breakfast it seems.
How much will you get again? I forget what you say.

i will get 8.00 an hour, and now im working thur -sun 6-10 so that helps too
more hours for me.. and today was fun as well and i got a 4.00 tip i was not expecting that at all and all the cunstomers are so nice.. i love everything about it espically working alone and on my own .. take care

i have new job too, even i'm a jobless before.
today I got a duty to carying a table from some where to the warrehouse....so tired
but I fun......lol

i know we can really use the money and i know my hubby apreicates that im a better person and now trying my best and i already see him treating me differently
for the better. i hope he takes me to applebee's today im craving the chicken wontons and there awesome spinach dip.. yum.. take care.. i will post later about my sat at work ..thanks

Im happy to hear your first day at work, it sound like you enjoy the day and you have nice boss who told jokes and to have a nice situation at work it can help to boast your spirit, I think its a good started for your new job. She asked you to do extra hour from 6-10am its mean that she likes how you did your job and its mean you are a good worker
Just thinking about the extra money you will get and forget everything, Im sure you will enjoy it. And remember you have your mylot family here who will always support you. By the way talking about coffee,juices, biscuits makes me feel hungry again even I just ate a bowl of soup hehehe. Keep up the good job and dont forget share new story or new exprience everyday.

well so far so good on the job, no great.. i have not posted yet but will later about it, thanks for being here for my support and to help me keep this wonderful job as in the past after a couple days i would get stressed out.. but on this job its different becasue no boss over my shoulder. and im by myself, i can take a break when needed eat what i want free when i want as long as i keep up the work
and im getting tips lol yea. thanks look for my post on it later.. take care

It's great that you found a job that you like, and your boss is nice! Even finding a job is hard nowadays, so I'm glad you find one that you enjoy. It's also good that you can have a breakfast there, handling all that food would make me hungry for sure

the food does make me hungry, and i can take a break or eat anytime i want or take stuff to the back to munch on while working.. its nice.. so far they treat there employees very good.. so im happy.. i usualy go in early and chit chat with desk clerk people and eat my breakfast then.. and sometime i will grab something extra
if im hungry when i take a break.. i like it too bacause i set my own breaks.. and no boss over me all the time... take care
