It is hot Saturday here in our place because obviously it is our summer season. Traditionally at this moment of year it's a kite-flying season. Children are having much fun in the field with their kites than at their houses helping their mother's house chores. It is very hot; that most of our children got so many lice due to severe heat from the sun which most likely the favorite time of lice laying eggs on our children's head. What did you do to eliminate the lice? Thanks everyone. Mobhomeir here 041412

Yes and mostly on summer time. There were those lice-shampoo that could not really get-off lice. But, one of the best that I remembered before was coconut milk and fine-toothed comb being advised always by my grandma... Thanks for responding.. Mobhomeir here 071512 1631hrs

you should use shampoos that kill lice instead of regular shapoos

They have medicine in the store for it, and picking them out, or sucking them out of the scalp works too. There are so many ways to get rid of lice.

Hello there, I think it is quite common for children to have head lice. When my daughter was younger, I got them from her friends as they would like to play together. Because of this, I have done a lot of research via googling the information and I realize the best remedy to get rid of head lice is tee tree oil. Just apply the tee tree oil to the hair evenly and slowly, not to let the oil dropping off the head. After the application, put a shower cap on. After one hour, wash the hair with shampoo and dry them. Afterwards, you can start combing the hair with the special designed head lice comb. Job done! Hope this helps.

When we were kids, and before that, castor oil was commonly used for lice. We had to put it on the scalp, massage it in, and leave it on overnight with a shower cap or plastic cap. Washing it out in the morning takes some time and at least shampooing twice, because the oil is sticky, but it killed the lice. I think other oils work too, like coconut or olive oil. Then a narrow toothed comb is useful to remove the lice from the hair.

my daughter would normally have lice especially when its summer. i just make sure that she takes a bath before and after playing under that sun. but of course you have to let them rest first after playing before letting them into the shower. use shampoos that are made to eliminate lice. choose the brands that suits them. some can only be use twice a week, some everyday. some can cause dry hair. so you have to be very careful not to damage the delicate hair of the children. hope that helps.
