Once you have a user rating of 500 or more you can copy and paste more than just a simple URL or a few words. The reason why you cannot do so before this is that many people have abused it in the past by simply copying whole discussions and responses from other sites. Unfortunately, a few people still try doing this after they reach 500 (and even before, if they have discovered the way to get around it). Plagiarism is very much frowned on here (see the Guidelines) and people who do it are usually detected fairly quickly and are generally removed without warning, losing whatever earnings they have made as a result. When you reach 500, use the privilege wisely and don't try to abuse it. It can be very useful if you use it legitimately. Quite a few people write their discussions first in a word processor and then post them, thus being able to spell check them and revise them and also to avoid those nasty moments when the MyLot server is not working too well!

Here in myLot you earn for the total of your activities here. You earn with each quality post that you made. Post count are not related to any of myLot earnings, it's the quality of the post that counts. As i see you only have 8 post since you registered, myLot would take 24 hours everyday and calculate your earnings and then you would see you earnings in your account. It take some times, but believe me, they really do give the credit for your quality post.
