Today I'm going to the cheapest place to buy things and see what the cheapest product I can find and sell it online. Although I don't know how to sell online those products. I'm hoping that I can try it and spend like 20 dollars buying sample products and sell it only with product price margin of 400% also. So that means the product that I bought for 20 dollars I will going to sell it for 800 dollars.

hi bulastika. good idea you have here for earning some extra cash. i've done something similar myself. i purchase items in bulk or those on sale from mom and pop stores and sell it on-line for a profit. i used to have an eBay account where i sold audio and video cds and dvds. you can go that route and create for yourself an eBay account or even pose pictures of your merchandise in your facebook account. doing that automatically gives you your client base with your current facebook friends. i've earned some extra cash but not as much as your projections. that is one thing that you might want to check though. everyone wants to earn big but a 400% return is stretching it a bit too much. that's just my opinion though. another thing that you can look into is to sell items that you own but do not use anymore like old clothes, books, and even electrical appliances and furniture. just make sure that whatever you're selling are still clean, functional, and up to date and not out of season. hope these tips help you out bulastika and good luck on your endeavor. cheers and happy mylotting!!!

hi bulastika. when i was selling online, i never used courier services. one of my conditions was always to meet-up with the buyer at pre-set places and schedules that i have included in my terms and conditions. i meet the buyer, i get the payment and hand over the product personally. with this set up, i get to meet the buyer and establish a more personal connection with them, increasing the chances of making a second, third, or even multiple sales. additionally, i also need not worry about courier fees or packages being lost or damaged during transit. i take the mrt in my daily commute so any mrt station was a designated meet-up place with specified meet-up time after my usual office hours. you may try that but ultimately it is up to you if you prefer to send your products through courier or meet your buyers personally. if you want to send out your products you may use fedex, lbc, or some of the other couriers. you may check their respective websites for further details like pricing, branches, and conditions. hope this helps and good luck with your endeavor. cheers!!!

That means you have a high over head. I mean that's cost a lot if you count your transportation expenses. Also sometimes its not really safe to mean someone. Especially a person that you don't know. But I do that before also especially when I'm still collecting marvel legends. And right now I want to sell them in bulk and maybe I will going to do it online also.

That's good. I'm just wondering if you can suggest a cheap courier locally and internationally? Because this is my problem right now. I want to find a courier that is cheap and can handle goods properly. Because if I want to earn more online I need to have delivery charges goes down also. So far I'm not successful in finding a good courier.

Hello, bulastika! I've been planning the same for years now. Yes. The problem is how I can sell online for here in our country, most people prefer not to use credit or debit cards. I am also thinking of PayPal as an alternative, but I am sure only few Filipinos are using PayPal.

It's free! The problem is we need a debit card to enroll for a PayPal account. We need to pay P350 annual fee.

I would suggest you to stick to e-bay first, where there is lot of traffic.Starting your own site and getting enough traffic might take time. So stick to popular sites, see the profit, gain experience and then you are are likely to get lot of customers. Maintain good relation with your customers and then start your own sites and popularize it among them. Product price margin of 400% seems too high. Every buyer online does there homework, before maeking a deal. If you buy a cup for .50 cents and selling for 1.50, people are likely to buy. No one will buy, if the products is priced 20$. All products must be reasobably priced.

I don't know if I can make my own website right now. Although I also want to open my own website but I guess I will just going to use my facebook if I really want to have a website. The 20 dollars is just an example its not literally a price that I'm going to sell. What I'm saying is the mark up is 400%. But I guess I just going to make it 200% mark up or even 100% mark up plus delivery charges.

A markup of 400% on those secondhand purchased for your resale business, it may work out well for you, very soon, your personal selling site will make you a very rich person in Philippines when many people begin to place their orders, it probably will work out fine, but we never know, unless you try it. GO for it, wish you well.

I' hoping so. my plan is to find a direct seller in countries like U.S.A, Canada, And in europe. In which I'm going to send bulk goods and that person is the one going to sell it in their country. If that's going to happen I'm going to have easy money earning online. But I guess its more a dream than be a reality.

good luck with that, I think that's a good idea, especially if you can buy some stuff cheap then put your own brand then sell it double or more. or try to take photos of some products on where you live then just post it on your site, that way you don't need to invest money, all you need is take photo's post it on your website, then if someone ordered then that's the time you make the purchase of that product. sure ball:) good luck!

That's actually what I want to do right now. I'm going to sell some product cheap and make some good earning out of it. SO far I'm planning to make some photo's. I'm hoping that I'm going to earn some money doing this. But the hardest point is always how to start doing buy and sell online. But once you started I'm sure its going to be a great profit.

In my experience, what you should do it set up your site with complete listing of your products and at the same time list the item on ebay with slightly higher price than on your website and create external links on your listing to your website, like more information about your company and etc. At first your buyers might just buy from ebay since they didn't know a single thing about your company, but after you reach 500-1000 positive feedback from buyers, they will start showing on your website. When you reach that stage, you can start slowing down on ebay since you will have the listing fees and all that, but not on your website. But the most important thing to start selling on ebay is customer satisfactory, even 1/100 negative feedback would cost you something with paypal. Another thing about ebay is your customer payment will be held until they give you a positive feedback. For the item you would sell i would suggest checking some wholesaler website like aliexpress for cheap stuff or you can subscribe to globalsources products where suppliers will personally contact you with their quotes and company information. What i mean is that the stuff they sell for like $65 each would sell $150 on ebay. Goodluck.

Thanks its really good and informative. But I'm just wondering if you have an example site for this dropshipping method. I also use ebay before and I know how feedback is important. that's why I'm hoping to start from my local area then international. My main concern right now is courier as I did not find yet a cheaper courier. But I'm interested to know more about this dropshipping method.

One thing i forgot to mention is dropshipping method on ebay. What you do is contact some wholesale website to help you with dropshipping and most would help you. It is easier this way because at start ebay/paypal would ask you about the item/serial/etc before or after you sell the product and it is easier to ask the company because you would onlt get information like serial number/etc if you have actually bought the product. But with dropshipping, you wouldn't made much profit selling since it would cost you more on the product on website that helps dropshippers on ebay. The best you would get is 10%-20$ profit. If you are serious about the business i would suggest using my above method by contacting wholesaler or the company that produce the product, because they only sell in bulk like 100 min orders. You would have to order the sameple to know the product yourself first before start listing. Dropshipping on the other hand is a website that sells multiple stuff which they buy directly from the factory and sell to you a little bit more from what the factory is offering. Again, goodluck.

I hope so. I'm thinking of selling beads, like rosary, chinese necklace beads and bracelet and also some stone relics etc. I'm hoping that I can earn some also. But if I can't sell it I'm just going to make is my christmas gift. lols.

The problem with setting up your own selling site is attracting the traffic. Personally, I'd forget about that and sell through Ebay or maybe Amazon instead, because those sites already attact millions of visitors.

I'm also thinking of doing that. Thanks. although I don't know if in amazon I can open and make some sell in here. Since I don't use it yet. But I'm going to make a try and hope that I can earn in here. Hope in two to three months I can see progress.

Oh. Your too much. Haha. Maybe, just a suggestion, there are 2nd hand buy and sell online sites out there. Maybe you can sell products of your own on those sites. By this one, you will just earn, and get rid of objects which you do not use already, and it is very legal. :)

If I'm going to sell it on second hand site I'm sure the price will be low since its second hand. But if I sell it as brand new and as my own brand then I guess its have a good chance of earning especially if I'm going to pick up speed. Although theirs also some chances that I'm going to earn some money in here also. So I'm going to do it. If theirs a buyer with my price then its a good thing.

I feel that perhaps if your selling percentages were a tad bit lower then you can make a nice profit. Remember that in order to be successful in that type of business, you have to sell quality products that can also beat your competitors price. Sometimes you have to be aware of that a lot of products that are sold under market value aren't necessarily of good quality.

That's true. quality is good. But in online selling buyers don't know if your goods is good quality or not until they bought it. That's why its important that you have a price good enough to be consider cheap but high enough to be consider a quality goods. Because if you price its too low many thing its cheap or defective also.
