Can anyone recommer a summer beach destination around the Phils. which is not famous but the place is worth the visit and adventure. Me and my friends want to travel all weekends this summer to support local tourism and enjoy the season. So we wanna explore the beautiful beaches that are not highly visited yet by tourists.

I been to a few beaches in Batangas and one beach I would recommend is "munting buhangin", it's cheap but going there is a challenge especially if you don't have your own transportation. I not sure of its popularity but there were a lot of people last time we've been there. Accommodation, especially their villas are great and it's affordable but i spent nothing since that outing was paid for by the company.

I think we've been to laiya also and it's a nice place but I would still prefer munting buhangin because of it's location. Besides, laiya is too far away that we spent i think 3 to 4 hours for one way trip.

Have you been to Bolinao, Pangasinan? The beach there is so beautiful. The rates for the resorts are also affordable.

if you like going to the beach, then you are in the right country! hehe south bound or even northbound there are a lot of choices. =) up north, there are nice beaches in bataan, or in zambales. =) down south, we have got batangas beaches which are good for diving.

Samar and Leyte have the great white beaches if you want to explore the southern part of the country. Ormoc City and its neighboring towns have great and affordable beach resorts.

I strongly recommend you visit the Camiguin Island. It's a small island situated at the northern part of Mindanao. The beaches there is more than like Boracay ( the sand and the color of seawater ) and what's great there is that it's not that crowded compared to other famous beaches in the country, it just don't have the same hype as Boracay but the place and the beach is very very great, it's really more than worth your money. Also the people there is so warm and friendly. The place is like a paradise, you'll surely be relaxed and truly unwind.

How about try exploring the now famous Tinuy-an falls and Enchanted river in Surigao del Sur in exchange of the beaches and be amazed on the natural beauty of nature.

Try the white beach in Cagayan Valley, close to aparri. The place is called Anguib. It is not yet that developed since it was just recently that they open to public. The people there even called the place " the Boracay of the North " .

Wow, very far! I had been to Cagayan but never to Aparri. Hopefully I can visit the place this year. As I can only afford at least 7 destination for 2012.
