I lost over $8.00 for being inactive for more than three months from MyLot. I was away even longer because I could not remember my password after getting a new laptop. So now that my account has been reset back to 0.00 I decided I want to see how much I can earn in one month if I really, really work at it. I am online most of the day anyway since this is where I work. So I plan on posting as much as I can in the next 4 weeks to see how much someone can really earn on here. The most I have ever been paid is $12.95 and that was mostly from tasks so I am curious to see how much I can earn in one month just from posting. This should be interesting right???
What was the most you have ever been paid on here? I am curious to see so I can gauge how much commenting I have to do per day.

I have never been paid by mylot :D That is because I have never been active enough to get even close to 10 dollars. Right now I have 0.97 balance on my account. I don't know I think it's just too hard to find any discussions where I feel I can really contribute and give meaningful answers. I guess I should look around more or start my own discussions. I hope you reach your goal fast. Good luck :)

I am reading this now. I don't know anything about pictures either, but I do take a lot of pictures so this might be something I can definitely do.
I have my earnings for yesterday...do you think it will be a problem if I post a discussion about it. Like Day 1 MyLot Earnings???
It is more than I expected and I would love to share with everyone.

People replying to your discussions don't earn you anything extra (unless things have changed recently which is doubtful).

You need to get people to get engaged in your discussions and you yourself reply to them, just posting a discussion and getting even a bunch of replies won't earn you much / anything.
Here is a recent discussion that may interest you. How to earn nicely is pretty much summed up by a few users, along with the clarification you can earn to upload photos which I didn't realize ...

The biggest earning I have for one day since i became a member here is $0.48. I was a member here since 2003 but was not active until last year I saw my wife actively participating in the dscussions, so I went back. Now, I am trying to earn to reach the minimum payout which will be my first.
It is quite hard to earn here but as time flies, you will not notice that you earn that much just commenting and posting discussions. You are right, posting discussions that can catch the interest of many as well as going back to your discussion will help you earn a lot. Happy mylotting and good luck on your goal.

I did pretty good on my first day!!! I am just trying to find out before I post that MyLot has no issues with us posting our earnings?? DO you know? I though about this overnight and realized I better make sure I am not breaking any rules here. I did good though and can't wait to share, I also have a ton of comments to reply to!!

I honestly don't see why you couldn't unless it is in the FAQ stating you can't start a discussion about it. But I see plenty of discussions about mylot earnings so I don't see how they could remain open but yours wont.
Instead of daily though (as people / mylot) might start considering it as spam why not do weekly?

Hi virtualmirage, I wish you luck, I said to my self I'm going to try and be more and more active on here, I too have been away for about a month. I have been here I think 4 or 5 years...I have not made payout yet; I have to be committed to be active on here...I said if I can keep going on facebook I can come here also. Blessings!

I can't believe you have been on here so long and have never been paid!!! That is incredible. I didn't even know MyLot had been around that long. Well I hope you can get more active and reach that first payout very soon. As long as you can find interesting discussions, earning on here is easier than on most other sites. It's easy but takes longer, but it is also fun and when you get paid, it's worth it!! Good luck to you!

I don´t think we can discuss our earning in posts, VM. Let´s check the rules before posting. Mylot deletes those posts that don´t meet the requirements. I don´t earn much from tasks here or in any other site. But I earn some ramdom cash sometimes when I check some things at the search bar. Luck!!!

Wow, virtualmirage! you are really good at making money in here huh? Well, despite the 8 dollars that you've missed, I hope you can do much bigger than that. as you said, you can do more from tasks and earn 12 dollars. I believe you can do much when you are both doing tasks and discussions.
For me, I seldom do tasks. Unless there's available i can really do. Most of the time I do participate in discussions and do the search as well. I can say, the most I have earned is 12 dollars like you. I am not always posting in here, so I don't get the quota sometimes. Well, there are also times I spend the whole day posting in here. Depends on my mood and how my mind is working...

I've been active last 2 months because I'm not busy but now I'm super busy with my offline and also online I forgot to log-in here on mylot. I do missed this forum and also my earning. If I'm active maybe I'd cash-out already my $10dollars. I should have time for mylot.Try to comments a few discussion but I have no time to create new topic.
One thing I notices if your not active your earnings and your number per comments are also decreases that's why I'm still in 200 something. I missed to share my opinions and my suggestion to other mylotter's who's been active. I will try to visit this site and try to give my ideas.

I am also planning to be active again. thank God that my earnings here on mylot has not been reset to 0 even if I have been inactive for sometime now. But now I am planning to set a daily goal for mylot to finally reach the $10 minimum payout. I only have $1.80 as of now. I wish I could do enough response and discussions for me to earn the minimum amount to cashout.

Virtual, I would always be here to encourage anyone who is setting a goal here on mylot, yes we know it doesn't pay us much but we just have to put a lot of our time into it and that would result into earning a lot more than you expect, you might not even need to start a discussion, all you could do is look for a discussion from one of the top users who would always reply back by commenting and then you have a discussion in a discussion between you two.
There is also a way I have told you that could help, is getting up to 50 discussions to reply to and that might probably get you a dollar and if they op for the discussion comments back then by commenting again to that response you earn more.

That's a good goal.I have planned times to maximize my earnings here in mylot,but due to several other reasons i couldn't spend much time online.I always wanted to check my earnings for a continuous one month effort,but i was never consistent.I hope u would succeed in your trials and reach your goals.Have a great day!

I've actually just joined a couple of days ago. It will be interested to learn just how much one can earn from just posting. I am striving for the same goal. I will post everyday because I am basically on this computer the majority of the day anyway. I also work from home, so I'm pretty much right at home with this one. I hope I'm able to earn enough to mention.

Awesome I am active on here and one day I made some good money, so I am gonna keep it up and that is my goal as well. I am doing pretty good right now and hopefully I will be paid next month when I reach my earnings which I am almost there. Stay positive and keep on going.

Haven't been paid yet and although the earnings from here aren't overly important to me to be honest (I enjoy the discussions more than the paying aspect of the site) I'm upto $2.06 and that's from this month alone. I had lost my previous earnings due to being offline for a few months but oh well it happens.
Just remember to post quality and you'll do well im sure

The big one in a day that i can earn in here is $0.51, but i had spend much time for posting discussions. Now, i am tired then i just try to post 10 discussions a day only, i don't care much how much i can earn day more.
By the way, I hope you can earn much as what you want.

The $8.00 that you've lost is a lot, and you are a very hard working as you could start from scratch even with that lost. If it's been me i would have do anything i could to retrieve the lost money. I have been here for 3 days and my best earnings are 25 cents. It's a good start since i have start from scratch after i forgot my old account (i think it was deleted since i used the same email for this one). With all that said, lastly i would say good luck with your goal.
