Sometimes ordering a book online is purely for the fact of having something to look forward to in the next couple of days! what do you think?

I love having something to look for, something to be excited about. I always get really excited thinking that I am going to get a little package in the mail and something to open. Its like a little present for myself.

exactly! i love it when i save up some cash for a book i want and order it online only to endure a sweet and painful wait culminating in a dozen hours of happy reading :)

Ha ha, I never get to books as soon as they come out. I usually wait until they surface at the library and at the thrift store. I do have a couple of authors that I know have just come out with new books, I just don't feel like paying full cover price for them. . What can I say? $25 for a book just seems wrong. lol. So what books are you looking forward to coming out?

I sort of agree. I really do look forward to the books that I've ordered online arriving in the mail. But I actually prefer walking into a bookstore and browsing through all the wonderful bookshelves and finding surprises there. Shopping for books online is just... not fun for me. Getting the books is great of course, and I do look forward to getting them but between looking forward to a package coming in the mail and looking forward to a bookshopping date... I'd pick the bookshopping date.

Oh I definately agree with this! Especially if you get a nice deal on the book then you know you save some bucks, while also having the anticipation of getting some 'good' mail at your door, and delving into a new adventure when the book arrives. What book did you order?
