Do U bring your mobile phone to toilet or bathroom?

Not really... There are few time I do bring it in to the bathroom, though... When I'm already on the phone with someone & I really have to go to a bathroom & when I'm working & expecting an important call... Usually I carry my cell phone in a case clipped on to my belt so when I go to the bathroom, I guess I'm bringing it into the bathroom... I have iPod so I don't listen to music or play games on my phone so I don't need it for those reasons...

Yes you are not alone. My husband does it and my daughters teacher does it (she texts she has dropped it there and not that I am nosey) so with two people I know who do it, I suspect this is a common thing. A long time ago I saw a TV programme on cleaning and they said that when the toilet is flushed the spray can reach up to as high as your chin. There is another I saw that the man stuck a piece of paper to the underside of the toilet seat lid. He closed the lid and flushed. When he lifted the lid you can see splashes of water on the paper. So with that information I suggest that you keep anything you want to keep clean away from the toilet. If you have trouble moving your contents I suggest you drink a lot and eat more fruits and vegetables. I practice drinking enough and only spend a minute to get rid of my stuff, so I never have to be away from my phone for long.

No, I don't. I hardly use my mobile anyway, and if there is any missed call or new text coming while I'm in the bathroom, most probably I can deal with it afterwards. Also, my mobile is just a simple plain Nokia C5; it's not a blackberry, smart phone, or anything like that, so I don't use it to listen to music or doing any other applications.

it is not advisable to take mobile in toilet or in bathroom. in bathroom the moisture level or humidity remains at 100 percent level which may damage your hand set and toilet is always unhygienic place, so there are posibilities to grow microorganisms on yoiur mobile set.

When I go to the public restroom I usually have my cell phone in my purse...unless someone calls when I am on the toilet (it seems to happen a LOT, I wonder if there is a meter in the thing that sends out a message to everyone that I'm going to the toilet???). I learned not too long ago that 40,000 people a DAY (yep, that's right, 40,000 people a day) drop their cell phones in the toilet!! After learning that I'm careful around the toilet when I have my cell phone with me.

I don't take my cellphone to the bathroom, unless I am talking on the phone. I would be afraid that I would drop my phone into the toilet, so I just don't take it into the bathroom. I Ferrell that the bathroom is best used for what it is intended. I just don't think it is necessary to take the phone into the bathroom. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Ohhh you are asking mobile phone in bathroom I observe some people carry their mobile phone in toilet also. I dont understand how they work in toilet hahah....But this is not good habit we spend few minutes only in bathroom so why take the mobile phone in bathroom.

No way I do not take it to the bathroom. I will take a call if it is an emergency only and someone brings me the phone. The phone does belong in the bathroom at all.

I am not yet a big fan of cellphone, so I don't take it everywhere I go; but I think you aren't alone because I see that most of the people are living very close to their phones and probably they take them to every place they go. I think one shouldn't exaggerate on using cellphones.

I had a friend done that, she accidentally feel her mobile and flash it. Things are so different for some.

Normally i don't take my cell phone into my bathroom or toilet when in my home, but if i am at a friends home and the need to use toilet arises, i carry it, because there is every chance of missing a call. Professor

You are not alone, pal! I certainly bring my cell phone inside the toilet all the time, mainly to kill time during the 'nature activity';P I usually use my cell in the toilet to chat with my friends or to play games when no one is around. Well, some people even say that their best moment of creativity and ideas are inside the toilet, so why not, maybe you could create something nice inside haha :p One thing though, once I brought my cell phone inside the toilet and I nearly dropped it inside the bowl x_x Have to be careful on that one. haha.
