Stephen King's "On Writing" is one of the book that I read and re-read whenever I need an inspiration to continue with my writings. It has become one of the most inspiring books about writing for me in a way. Have you read it yet? Does it inspire you with your writing as well? What do you think of the book?

Hello ladyhemingway I have read Stephen King's, "On Writing". I really enjoyed this book. I especially appreciated how Mr. King says that if we want to write, just write!! Also, that we do not need the approval of others' standards before we can be regarded as a writer. Rather, Mr. King points out that if we write, then we are writers. I found the book inspirational and gracious.

Hello PageTurner, I am glad to hear that you found the book inspirational the same way I do. Just like LovelyxOdd, I tend to be worried by other people's judgement on my writing. Some say that you cannot be called a writer if you do not have published work or works yet. Though I have published some of my writings to our local newspapers sometimes I fell a bit intimidated by others who has been in the industry for a long time now. But thanks for reminding me about this gem on the book.

Hello LovelyxOdd. I hope that you do read the book. I think that you will glean much from it. Hello ladyhemingway. Thanks for reminding me of this book. I really enjoyed it and I wish that I still had it, but I gave it away to someone who, I thought, would appreciate it as well.

Not yet, but I'm willing to, once I get hold of the book.

It was a great tool and it gave me such great writing advice and at the same time it was a stephen king novel, it really told you who stephen king was and not another one of his stories though and gave you the perspective of a Millionaire novelist. I was impressed with it and frankly I loved it.
