Everyone has his own schooling .But what on earth has your schooling taught you? If someone leraned typing or technical drawing or some particular kind of skills, he will apply it to his workBut there are many examples whose carees or work has not much to do with what he was taught at shool and they are doing very well in their careers. Do you know why? Can we say their schooling is of no use?

schooling provides not only skills, but only values and other intangibles such as social networking and friendships. for examples, the discipline that the schooling has imparted is very essential in the future endeavors. students hate deadlines and assignments, but they are part of schooling - meeting deadlines. in that way, discipline is instilled in the students.

Yeah,Not only does schooling offer skills but also values ,way of thinking and other important things.Exteriorly, what people learned at school isn't used, but from school, they learned to obey rules, meet deadlies,be hel.pful to others and other qualities, which are important to their work and life in the future.

Schooling is definitely essential in our lives..In school, we meet different kinds of people and that helps us know how we should act with different kinds of people..you get what I'm saying?..LOL..and that is "can get along with others" skill..with that, it will help make it easy for you to go through your everyday life activity:p

It depends on what you call: schooling. Think life itself is the best school one can have, the more interests you have the more you learn. Can't say that from the schools I visited. Teachers are discriminating not interested frequently only teach you what they learned (no room for creative thinkers people who are different) kids/students are mean, those with the best grades seldom get a great carreer or a job at all and you don't learn anything (besides of reading and counting) what you can use in real life.

I was not able to pursue what I studied in College, but I did learn skills that made me more productive in my career. I graduated with a degree in Computer Science, and although I'm not doing computer programs as a living, I somehow have an edge with my knowledge in computers and applications. Programming has also taught me how to be process-oriented which is very helpful in my managerial work. There's actually a lot more that I get to use in my career, even if I didn't end up being a programmer.

I can't say my schooling is of no use. It has trained me to be professional and therapeutic in my chosen field of career. I have learned to be really patient, to be nondiscriminatory and approach people without any bias. I know that not all things has been taught to me, and that there are things that are missing, but then again, the foundation has been built up. That is what I'm thankful for.

Education is very essential nowadays..., without education there will be no progress at all... Schooling and working are two different things... But sometimes..., to be able to land on a good job..., one must be equipped of proper learning that the employer requires... But having a diploma or a certificate of recognition doesn't guarantee that you will be able to find the right career that you are looking for... Today..., competition for job employment is high and very stiff... One must be very flexible in so many ways and must learn to be more competitive if you really want to get that dream job that you are looking for...

I learned that... algebra is worthless in my own life lol.. it didn't help when i was trying to change my kid's diapers.. or even budgeting... as no matter how much i find variable X it doesn't matter its no use as i cannot improve money matters... but seriously, i learned that things we learn in school can at times be all theories there might be skill stuff but then there are way more valuable lessons we cannot learn in school.. like valuing true friendship, respect, responsibility...etc

I wouldn't say their schooling is of no use. You never know when your're gonna have another job where you need that expertise you've learnt at your high school, college or university. Especially nowadays when thousands people are losing their jobs every single day. There are a lot of jobs, also, which require born abilities more than papers and expertise. For example, you can work in customer service in finance sometimes with just speaking a language really well, and you may not learn at your college, but if you've lived in a foreign country, or just have a wonderful affinity for learning foreign languages, you're going to great for a job like that. But that doesn't mean that the schooling wasn't useful. I'm pretty sure everyone finds at least an aspect which they find useful in their schooling, like... if someone learnt to be an engineer and became... I don't know, a marketing specialist they could use their schooling in engineering when they their own house or so. So I guess it depends.
