my son came home from school early due to health issues. for a while, i wasn't sure if we would need to take him to the hospital. thank the Lord, it's not serious but needs some rest. while he's in bed trying to rest, his Father and Brother have decided to play the xbox. his brother is using my son as a pillow! his Father keeps jumping on the bed when he's winning the game. they both get loud to outdo the other! HOW RUDE!! when i remind them that my son isn't feeling well and would like some quiet, they say in a minute. let us finish this game! what's pathetic, his Father is in his mid 40s and acting worse than a teenager!!!! God grant me the patience to deal with these kids! in the meantime, i have my daughter doing homework in the living room, not paying attention to anything. my husband asleep on the couch! i just need to win the lottory so i can hire me a chef and a housecleaner. :) oh yeah....can't win the lottory! i don't play! ;)

I think you should imagine being in place of my wife, having seven sons and a husband like me, LOL! There are times of inconsideration most of the time as it is a never-ending saga of fun and rage amongst my boys {count me in! lol!).

dang! having had 9 people in my house till recently, i can understand her position. i was fortunate enough to have them range from age 5yr to 55 yrs old. but there were times i wondered who were the adults and who were the children as the adults acted worse than a child!

i agree when my son feels good. when he feels bad, the last thing he needs is to be used as a chair/pillow and someone jumping on the bed and rocking it. all he wanted to do was sleep and be left alone. his father and brother couldn't respect that.

As long as they're having fun, having great bonding moments, you could very well much appreciate it. There is nothing more worthwhile seeing your family having a great time of fun and laughter, although the mess in the house is a sure sore to the eyes, lol!

i agree that the father is rude. Is this his blood child or a stepchild? As for the lottery, save your money. An old man has been buying me a ticket every drawing for the past 20 yrs and I once won 7.00! If that doesn't tell you enough, I work in a place that sells lottery and in that 20 yrs, we had one 10,000.00 winner. Each week we get a couple of winners for 3.00, maybe 7.00 but we sell a ton of them. Your odds on the scratch tickets are somewhat better but not great. I will once a week buy 3.00 worth of the scratch tickets. Sometimes I win my money back or a little more which is always cool. A couple of times I won like 50.00.

this is his blood child that he's showing disrespect too. i only play the lottory when i'm in the mood, which is about once every 6 months or so.

though its rude, i find it cute too and i can see you have a happy family. as a mother, we find it annoying when your household is out of control but that is what that keeps us going. just don't forget to have your me time so you will feel not exhausted.

I think that is rude as it happens all the time in my house yet when they are asleep or feeling sick they expect everyone else to be quiet and give them sympathy, I think it is just the nature of some people.

the men in my house are the worst! when they dont feel good, the whole world needs to stop. if i dont feel good, the world gets busier.

I can understand your frustration with the situation you're describing there... But I can also see that you are indeed very grateful with everything you have. It's not something that everyone can deal with positively in having your ex and husband under one roof. But seems that you and everyone in your family are handling everything just fine...

we try. at least my kids understand why we've done this and they appreciate it the most (at times!)

Men really get caught up in video games. I remember when I was little my father and I played a lot together a game with tanks. I hope your son is ok. I'm sure they didn't have any bad intentions.

what's really annoying, when their father and i were married, we got the playstation when they first came out. if i played a game for more than 5 min, i was accused of playing it all day! he wouldn't even touch the game console. now, he's the one that keeps dragging the kids to play games all day long! boy, did he flip!
