long distance or short distance relationship?

This might be a very commonly asked question and probably has been asked and discussed so many times before. But still this topic has interest me personally as I am in a long distance relationship right now. I have tried the opposite before and i can see the difference. Its very hard to have a boyfriend very far away from you and you can only see virtual. You can't even touch,,hug and feel his presence. But i do love him and found him to be a very kind and nice guy so I don't wanna give up on him. What must i do to keep the relationship burning amidst our distance?

Proximity and distance ..most often the factor deserve quite a lot of concern while speaking about human relations. When you are quite apart, a live relationship loses its concern and fades away into oblivion in the long run of time. But to be near and responsive all the time make quite a lot of difference in mutual relationships.

that is supposed to be the ideal,,, but some situation calls for a different action,,, i am happy that he is trying his ways for us to meet and be together. I envy those who are so near each other,,,but i am hoping we can come to the same situation.

I would rather choose the short distance relationship. i had been in the long distance relationship some time ago and it did not work out well. it's very hard to handle such relationships like that. you do not see each other, hug each other, share thoughts and feelings. plus, cheating can be done unnoticed. as for you, i salute you! LOL! good thing you keep your relationship with your guy. well, you could always chat, call, video call. for the sake of communication. communication is very important and trust! trust is a must to keep your relationship going. well welcome to mylot!

i have many failed relationships with short distance ones before,,so i tried my luck in the net and true enough i found him,,,its just that sometimes it could feel so useless when i can't physically express how i feel. But you are right and i believe in you with the trust and communication thing. Thank you annrielyn...

i think what really matters is the two of you. your love, respect and trust for each other. and i believe that if you are meant to be, no matter how far is the distance between you, you will always end up together. this has been discussed several times you are right. all i can say is it depends on both of you.

yes...i can relate to this situation. You know guys for me, long distance relationship is much better than short distance. When i am still studying and have my boyfriend i really like him to be far from me.You know the reason because i dont like that while i am studying i can not focus to my study so i better choose long distance.and also when i have my work.I dont know why i prefer to choose long distance.

Any relationship whether it is long distance or short distance needs unconditional love, commitment, care and appreciation. Emotional bonding score more over physical bonding. So, cheer up and keep the love you have for him alive. A time will come when you will be together so be patient and be happy. All the best.

I already know that it is very hard for a long distance relationship but you still want to keep it then just love with all your heart and caring each other everyday, being faithful even though your boyfriend is not beside you. Sometime, a long distance will help the love is stronger but sometime it ruins the love also.

long distance relationship must be a hard one, but if you really love each other its okay,, but then you should avoid some temptation around you.
