Do you still put tags on the end of the discussion?

I always put tags and if I see a discussion without one I add a few for them..that is like your search engine so if you don't have tags the discussion won't show up other places.

I always put tags to my own discussions. But when I respond sometimes I skip them and I say - OK, there are already tags out there :))

Yes I do. I add them to other discussions too when I see that they are missing. It helps get your own discussion noticed, helps others to find them in the search and it makes them appear in the 'similar topics' column over there ---

Of course I do and it helps me a lot when I´m interested on a certain topic as the page helps me to see other discussions with similar ideas. I write slowly here in mylot as English is not my native tongue so I´m never in a hurry.

I always put tags after making my discussions or responding to discussions. This way, I can easily attract people to my discussions once they try using the search bar and enter the key word I used.

Well, I always tag my threads, but only those written by me. Although everything now I have not yet well understood how useful tag, I still had it I put it also consists of 2 or 3 keywords. In theory I could also put the tags on the comments, but I never do. As I suppose the one who start this discussion, have already thought to put the appropriate tags.

i pretty much only put tags on the end of the discussion if i actually start it. when someone else starts and i am just responding, i often skip it.

hi lynboobsy not all the time as some have a ton of them so why should I add yet another almost identical one. my time is valuable and I only tag on those I might want to look u p , otherwise no I do not tag everything.I always tag my own discussions though to get tags started correctlyl lol.

On the discussions that I start, of course I place the tags on the discussion. I pretty much assume that is required for some reason and if it isn't, it just seems like common sense. And if it doesn't seem like common sense to some people, it seems like common sense to me. To assist people from getting right to any topics that I start. Now for any other topics that I do not start, it really does depend. Once I get on a posting rolling, unless I think of one tag that might be useful for the topic of another person off of the top of my head, then sure, I will be posting right on it. But otherwise, unless it comes to me right away, I just don't really bother spending too much time. Plus tagging for the sake of adding a tag on another post that I didn't create, it just is rather to silly.

Before I always do that, but if I noticed that the tags I thought of was already included I just skip it. But if it's my own discussion I always put tags on it.

Most of the time I do put on tags. But like you, when I am in a hurry, I just skip it. Or when I see that the discussion has already been tagged with a lot of relevant tags that I have thought of too, I just skip them. Tags are a good way to help in searching discussion in myLot. However, I usually put only one tag when I reply.

Well as much as possible yes caused it really help a lot in searching topics or discussions.

Yes! I always do when i start discussion,though it is not going to be so relevant.Everywhere you could find "MYLOT" tagged there.And then some related to that discussion. But while responding,i would prefer not to put tags unless i knew the exact term that has not been used before in that discussion.Mostly i don't get it though :(

If I got the right tag to put in, I will do it. But sometime I didn't get any word to be place as a tag.

Yes I always put tag at the end of discussion not skip it. But some time copy the title and paste in tag box. No write my own tag. Even I am hurry not forget to put the tag.

i do it every time, around 2-3 words...i don't want to skip it at all...

Just the same as you, I always put one or two tags at the end of the posts because that I think it is easier to find the similar topics.
