In the past that Windows mobile was quite popular. And it was the leading smartphone operating system. However, today it seems that only iPhone and Android have more Apps. It seems nobody is interested in making Windows mobile Apps. I don't understand why suddenly it is a less popular operating system.

Im still comfortable with symbian OS right now, cause I could download everything in every site. Not like iPhones, android or blackberry that have to come to specific site to download something.

I don't like iPhone since it is easy to pay for the Apps since your account links with your credit card.

Windows mobile have similarities with the computers we use today. So most of the people think that there is not much difference between an PC and a windows mobile phone. A person will not have much difference while using a windows phone and a PC. Where as, As we look Android it has good feature and good applications. Now in the present Android phones is the number one with lots of applications. It has a large variety of applications, which help the people a lot and mostly these applications help the people in their life. This is the one of the main reason why Android becomes the first and most popular among Windows.

Windows mobile(HTC s710,HTC p3450..)those were the old models.now they changed their UI with a metro look and new apps.its called windows phone(lumia 800,900,samsung omnia..)i have used both of them.even iPhone,Symbian and android.personally i love windows phone and am still typing from it.it has got a good market place.i never found a problem for apps.major problems i found in it is its soo secure.bluetooth works only from windows phone to windows phone.no file explorer,a song has to be transferred only through Zune.but there are apps for downloading songs.but it's smoother, faster than any other phones i have ever used.the only thing its not popular is its complicated than windows mobile and its price.it starts from 350$ about 16000inr.and about apps in windows mobile.every one is switch from windows mobile to windows phone.

Because people was already familiar with using windows on desktop or even laptops. Still they don't know if it will work also fine on mobile. And since it is the latest the are still waiting for some more reviews if it is good or not.

I have still a WM phone, but there are not many new apps developed actually and WM does not fit exactly all my needs : by example Word mobile cannot open large text files, and the only text editor I have found to do it breaks words badly. Old Palm and Psion PDAs were better to manage text files and spreadsheets. I have downloaded a lot of apps for my phone and I have also now some memory problems : 64 Mb for apps is not a lot compared to actual Androids and iPhones.

Currently my cellphone is also Windows mobile phone. If I want to buy a new cellphone again, then it will be an Android phone since there are many Apps for it.

for sure windows phone wont be popular since the way they made the system it's just too slow compared to other phones that are on the market these days, and I think they are not investing a lot on applications and other stuff that would caught the attention of the consumer. If only they could invest in their phones performance together with nice apps and games maybe they have a chance to get the market. Or might start a new revolutionize phone that would be so different from the phones that are so popular in the market today maybe they would have the chance to be on top again.

Since there a few choices for the customer then they can decide any system they like. Perhaps what others like could be the design or other factor. I am sure there are still many fans of Windows mobile and still use it as their smartphone operating system.
