I had a friend like this growing up. She actually had no idea she was talking so loud! She always wondered why people were telling her to tone it down...turns out years later she was diagnosed with hearing problems. You always knew though when she was in the building because you could hear her all the way through it!

She found out when she turned 18 and went in for a physical by herself. People kept telling her parents to take her in and get that and possible scoilosis checked out but they never had time to do so; or so they said. Quite sad actually.

wow, that is really food for thought. sometimes people could have a hearing problem. i doubt that if this person that i am talking about has a hearing problem would admit to it, or even do anything about it.

I know how you feel I can't stand it when somebody keeps yelling. Many loud people hear well, they even hear me who is silent. I don't need them to shout so loudly to understand them. LOL. I used to have very loud roommates for a few years, and it was a pain every evening to listen to them when I was tired and wanted to take some rest.

I always have this lady friend who is too loud and non-stop talker. What I don't like is, once she start talking, it's so hard to make her stop. And yes, she talks loud as if she's talking with someone who lives from the other part of the world :p

i bet you when she speaks all that loudness equals to her having nothing really important to say at all. it's just noise. that's what it usually is.

You don't need an aspirin as long as you would listen as-per-in--your brain and heart! Okay,to confess is the time-and myLot is the place again. So i would tell i have a pretty loud voice but i make sure i don't use it anytime or anywhere except in my house. Why do i use it there? Else, i could never bear with my sister. We are cat and rat -tom and Jerry- Yes we are-so i have to use that LOUD voice of mine to scream and yell and make her stop playing pranks! But when it comes to a place where people excepting my mom an dad and sister are present,i would be silent-a sign of silent serene nature-you could see in my face.I would be calm and composed as well.Well, probably when you have friends or strangers at the least, who yell maybe if they are friends you could advise them or if they are strangers, get out of that scenario. That's probably the best medicine. I have a friend who would shout once she got the right answer-and her attitude was so cheap-like if she got the right answer for a problem in physics and i and my friends got a wrong one-you should see her reaction-she would teach the whole class-in the name of teaching me and my friend.Glad i got rid of her in my college days atleast. She was one of those bad B****es i would call.I had fought with her a number of times to stop the yell and scream-disgusting when she does it at the top of her voice into my ears. Had i been with her for another year, i would surely have become one of those few deaf people in world! According to her, Loudness is a point of attraction? Yes, she was doing it like that to attract all boys. But sadly, none of those boys she wanted to be attracted of, liked her! Thank god i am now in a calm and peaceful environment as i loved to be in..

unfortunately, it's not that easy to just leave the situation all the time. like some one else said in a post above, you just have to endure and keep calm until you can get away sometimes. i don't know why women feel like being loud attracts men. they are mixing it up with being a strong woman, i think. it's the opposite actually.

Hello MoonGypsy. I've come across loud people very often. What I'm really irritated to is loud people who speak a different language, you can't understand. Lol. Which is just so annoying. What I'd do if I can't really take it anymore is I shift to regression, I remember my favorite nursery rhyme when I was a kid and sing it in my head. I'd go "I see the moon and the moon sees me....." Lol. It goes on and on until the noise stops. It works for me. Or any "feel good song" for that matter. See what works for u.=)

People with louder voices attract quite a lot of attention in a gathering of people. But the loud noise they make would turn out to be unbearable at time. While trying to firmly assert their opinions, the loud voiced people mar the peaceful atmosphere around.Loudness is often some kind of pollution.

i could understand if you are using your loud vocal chords to gather some people for a specific reason, but when it is just plain old yelling it is just noise pollution.

I sometimes hate loud people too. Sometimes they can really be annoying especially if their loudness is at the wrong situation or at the wrong place. I agree that most of the time, loud people only wants attention that's why they act that way. They only want to gain attention and to be noticed.

My aunt seems to swallow a microphone because she talks loud. She can’t talk at a low voice. I am used to it but my baby who is just four days old can’t sleep whenever she talk, laugh, especially when she comes inside the house because they are just five feet away from ours. I just wish my baby would also get used to her.
