Greetings NBA fans, The Playoffs are starting today, so which are the matches that you anticipate the most and which ones you think are the toughest ones to guess the winner? I've seen the bracket and I have to say that 3-4 matches are really on the edge. Pacers vs Magic, Celtics vs Hawks, Grizzles vs Clippers, Lakers vs Nuggets and even Thunder vs Mavericks I can't really guess the winner of it (in the last one most of it because usually Dirk is really amazing in Playoff games) The other 3 ones I think the winners will be Spurs, Bulls and Heat. Anyway, your thoughts about it?

Im afraid the Heat might just win it this year. Im a big Celtics fan, but I would be glad if somebody else would win this time. Somebody who has not won a title recently for example the LA Clippers or the Thunder. That would be just fair. Especially the Thunder. I personally think HEAT, BULLS, PACERS, CELTICS, LAKERS, CLIPPERS, THUNDER, SPURS will advance. I just wish that Utah would advance. But I dont see that as a probable turn of events.

I agree Thunder deserve a title, I don't know if they'll manage it this year but they do deserve to have a title since their team is great in the last couple of years. I can't be sure in some games of who will qualify, only the heat the spurs and the bulls I think will easily go through the second round.

Yup hard to tell. The Bulls suffered greatly with the loss of Rose. The Heat and Spurs are alright tho. Thunder have a tough matchup. Dallas is beyond doubt a playoff team. The first game was pretty narrow. I hope they get it done. No hate for the Mavs here tho...

As soon as the Mavs have great clutch players like Dirk, Terry and Carter it was expected for me that the matches with the Thunder would be good in the Playoffs, it has nothing to do with RS cause the title sometimes takes players to the next level (like Dirk) and anxiety of getting a title gets some players to a lower level (just like what happened with James last year's finals)

I think the most unexpected series is the OKC vs dallas series. We all know that the Mavericks got swept and I thought they could have won at least one game. The thunder are really good now and they have all the pieces of a championship team. They have Durant, Westbrook and Harden who are very good scorers in the team. Now, they have Derek Fisher who is a very experience and clutch player.

Yeap they also have Ibaka and Perkins who give the team the toughness that is also needed, plus some players like Fisher and Collison and Sefolosha that makes a decent bench. So they have what it takes to be champs, only time will tell if they will.

Well they made a very important first step in bringing down the reigning champs. They have the pieces. And they had a lot of rest now. I sure hope they can beat all the teams in the west.

some match-ups are really difficult to predict the winner. and that is the best of nba playoff series - the unpredictability and suspense of every playoff game. the fourth and fifth seeded teams are always a close fought series. but all match-ups are difficult to guess the winner.

yeap I agree, I can only make a prediction for 3 out of 8 matches for a possible winner (heat, spurs, bulls) the rest of them can go either way. :)

I think, Thunders-Mavs series will be the most difficult to predict. Along with Celtics-Hawks and Grizzlies-Clippers. The rest for me is a sure thing for the higher seed. Though right now, D. Rose is injured, I still think Bulls can get past Sixers but they aren't strong enough to get past the winner of Celtics-Hawks. I'm so glad that finally, the season is over and the playoffs had started.

Yeap it is close kind of the same with me. Those three matches will be close, maybe I'll add the Pacers-Magic too. About Chicago even now that they've lost once I still think they'll go through but yes I don't think they can go all the way without Rose.

What do you guys think about the development in the Miami - NYC series and the Dallas - Oklahoma series. Are you shocked? Both New York and Oklahoma are about to be swept. Actually I considered NYC kinda shorthanded, but the way Dallas is losing... Well the first game was very close, but the third was pretty ugly.

I expected Miami to qualify pretty easy, since the difference between the two teams is big. I expected close matches between DM and OKC the first two were close but the last one OKC dominated them so it won't be surprise now if both teams sweep their opponents, though I think Dallas would win the next one.

Well this playoffs is the most unpredictable as the moment. 3-6th seeds has a good chance of winning a spot at the finals. Bulls will have a hard time since Rose isn't around, Heat will be an easy win, Spurs will get it at Game 6 i guess. I'm rooting for LA Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder

I think that Bulls can still advance even without Rose but I don't think they'll be able of winning the title this year without Rose. I agree about Heat and Spurs :) I am not supporting any certain team, just enjoying the games :)
