Do you believe in this quotation?

Success is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it. It means we can turn things around for the better. But why are there many lonely and unsuccessful people? For me it does work sometimes, but it does not work too at times. What about you? Does it take a superman or superwoman to be able to follow this quotation?

It can be applicable to some while not to others. It really depends on the belief of a person. While I believe that the way you react to things has an impact on what will happen to you, I don't really rely on the given percentage on that quotation. For me, success is the combination of what happens to you and the way you react to it. Yes, I omit the percentage because I am not really sure about that. but the thing is, it is a combination. Well, at least for me.

Just as long as you are focused and determined to reach your goal, then you will.

My son lives by this quote and he is very successful. In fact he just got a big promotion at work. By your reactions you can turn a stressful situation into a different experience altogether...

I think that this quotation is absolutely true. This is why you will get some people in life who have had horrible things happen to them, yet they get on just fine because they take everything as motivation to succeed. Other people spend their entire lives thinking about what has happened to them instead of just getting out of the house and trying to do what is best for them in the long term instead. If they were able to do this, then it would be much better, and it would show that they're a stronger person than probably they even realised themselves.

I think that the quote is true. When something bad happens we can react in two different way. We can say: "I experienced a failure so I am a failure. I am hopeless and I am never going to succeed. I might as well give up" or we can say: "I experienced a failure and I going to learn from that experience. I will find out went wrong and I will find out what I can do in a different way. I will keep on trying" In both situations same thing happened, but the reaction is different. The first person gives up and the second person decides to learn from the experience and do things in the different way next time. The first person will not succeed, but the second person decides to try again and he or she might succeed in the future.

I believe in this quotation as well. I'm not sure about the numbers either but having a positive attitude and understanding that even though we don't have a choice about what happens to us in life, we have a choice on how we respond to it helps a lot. I try to live my life this way as much as I can. I do get negative sometimes and I am positive at other times but I never give up. I may stop doing something that isn't after trying a few times and being unsuccessful but I will eventually try something else. I never just decide to do nothing. Perspective is so important and so is my faith and my prayers.

of course you dont have to be a superman or superwoman to follow this. all it takes is a positive character and an enduring heart coupled with lots of lots and prayers and humility. success is just an inch from you if you really work hard for it.
