What are the some good local vegetable foods?

We aren't supposed to put recipes on here but I will tell you afew vegetable dishes I enjoy. I am not big on salads but I do like to take avacados, tomatos and cucumber- cube them and put vinaigrette on them and let them mairanate for a while. This is superb. And I love potatos in potato salad, mashed, baked, or any way. We have vegetable stands here and can get great vegetables and fruit. Yum!

I've go no idea, my friend. What's on my mind at the moment is some nice jacket potatoes. Does anybody know how to make it?

We cannot give you recipes here as it´s against the rules of this site. But you must know that, as you as not a newbie. I don´t know what dosa and idili are, nor the other veggies you mentioned. Do they have a name in English or are they only grown where you live? I love to cook, so I´d like to know more about them.
