Are you afraid of Death? / myLot

I'm not going to lie, its been bothering me ever since I was little, perhaps 8? It doesn't bother me on a daily basis, but when I'm only and I REALLY think about it, I'm scared of ceasing to exist. I think there is something waiting for us after death, but I do believe that we lose our conscious, who we were in life, and just resort back to our life essence or soul. So tell me, are you afraid of death? Do you believe there's something after death?

Hi Xemorth, I think for me i'm a little afraid of how i will die, praying that i won't have pain; although I know it's the will of God as of how I will die so I total trust him. so I always know that being away from the body is to be present with the Lord...blessings!

I can't really say that I'm afraid of dying. Right now, I don't feel that I'm ready to die, but it's not something that really scares me, or anything like that.

i am not afraid. because it will happen. it happens to everyone. i think whe i will be dying i will not feel anything. i will see all the places wherei have been. then i will lookback and say good bye to my parents. and then ater 1 yearin paradise i will be another person. :)
