Wow! I'm so happy! Three days ago I woke up and noticed that I was missing an earring from one of my ears. Since I just noticed it that when I awoke I had not idea whatsoever where I lost it. It could have been at work, outside, in the bed...any number of places. Then I was afraid that one of my cats might have found it and used it as a toy. It made me feel sick as this particular earring had been given to me by my husband as a gift. My birthstone and it matched a necklace he had gotten me on a previous occasion. Today as I was coming upstairs to water one of my plants, I just happened to look down and there was the earring on the stairs. Gotta love it!

I am happy for you- it is always a great experience to find something that is lost, especially if it has a sentimental value and an important person gave it to you.. I hope you won't lose it again.

And I find that earrings are so easy to lose sometimes, and so hard to find once you lose them cause they're small.

That is a relief for sure when we find something that we thought that we had lost, especially when it has a sentimental value. There are times where I rather get distressed when I lose something. Of course, the thing about when I lose something, is that it doesn't really turn up all that well until some time later. It is just the biggest relief in the world when it pops up, even if it is a strange place. Still something like that, it could really have fallen out at right any place. Yet it doesn't matter where it is found, as long as it is found and we can just get on with our lives. It is something that just puts a bit of a smile on my face, to find an item that I thought might have been lost forever.

That is amazing that you happened to find them an hour later. Isn't it great that things like this can make us so happy?

Woohoo, good for you! That is amazing. I tend to look down and find alot of things, my mom does when she's out and finds money--just small change though, but she's happy with it, LOL. I am glad your cats didn't get ahold of it, they will play with anything. And, sometimes might even swallow small things like that.

Yes, cats like shiny things and the earring would have been small enough for the to swallow or worse yet, choke on. I have found money occasionally but not that often. Its funny how you can search and search for something and not find it, as I did with the earring, but once you stop actively looking for it, there it is!
