Years ago I used to be really smart about computers and be able to figure things out. No, I won't say I was the best about it, and I did make a lot of mistakes, but I was alright with it. Now it seems as if I've forgotten things altogether, and it's odd. I don't know how to do much except for what I do online. I can't even get over a block this computer has, of course it's not my computer to get over the block, but it is annoying. What would you rate your own computer knowledge at?

I think I know the basics about the computer. I know some of it by surfing the internet. Maybe we should try to learn about the computer so that we won't be left behind. All you need is to do some research in the internet and try testing them on your own. Just as simple as that. Me, I do a lot of research about computers just by surfing the internet. I really enjoy using the computer and learning something from the internet. Learning is just so easy because of the technology. And every time I use the computer and the internet, the world became much more smaller and seems to be tough.

Yes our world seems so small when we get online and find out all about it. Those who live thousands of miles away become neighbors in a instant just by communication. We do learn everyday from the internet, and it's great that we do. Now we just need to remember to keep our knoweldge up on computers!

i am a good user! i would rate myself high at that but in terms of maintenance... i think i am no good at all. I do not even know how to install a software! haha (OS) other installations are simple so its fine with me.. but not for hardware and back up and so on... :D i guess my mind just gave up trying to learn more haha

Now I used to be able to install things, and OS was one of the things I atleast helped install, but then again it was on c.d. and step by step. These old OS's one can install, I know nothing of.

I am not that knowledgeable about computers themselves, although I do know more than a lot of people my age. I would say I am pretty strong in some of my online skills. Maybe when I run out of other things to keep me busy I could take some classes. I am certainly able to learn.

The thing about computers is that they are always evolving, so we have to keep learning regardless. These things I knew weren't really taught in classes, it was more self taught or I watched and learned by family.

I studied computer literature 2 years ago, I learned a lot of things even basic tech. Just for my own used so I can manage little things for my computer. But since only few problems occur to my laptop I don't have the chance to practice what I learned from school. I think we only need a little review and refresh our mind in things that we used to and it will come back.

Hey there SomeCowgirl.... Years ago I was so confused on how to use a computer. But now, it's like a family to me. Since I'm taking up Bachelor of Science in Information Technology... the way how computers work, they're all similar and they just have variations due to the work of its developer or programmer, I can make programs for my computer now, tweak it in whatever i want...So if I have to rate myself with computers, I would say 9/10, that 1 points missing will always be there, since technology is changing fast. Anyways, Have a nice day!

If we don't use computers too much and not eager to learn new things about it our knowledge will be limited. I like computers, troubleshooting, systems.. the reason why is I have the passion to learn. If it is not your interest it will be hard for you to learn. You have to refresh your knowledge about computers and it's new functionality.

Well when it comes to computers they are always changing and so we must always learn the newest thing. I am interested, just not sure where to start again. Oh well, I'll learn!
