Sounds like sciatic pain to me. That is when pain travels down your back into your legs and makes it incredibly hard to stand or walk. The best think you can do is alternate between heat and ice and try and walk a little bit...don't over do it! Rest is the main thing, but you don't want to be completely immombile becaue it will take longer to recover.

Hi sachu! I hope you feel better by the time you read this I also felt pain in the back just a few weeks ago. The pain radiated from my shoulder and I felt muscle spasm and twitches every now and then. I went to the doctor and he gave me muscle relaxant but it didn't work. I had cervical xray and found out that my cervical spine was straightened. I also had nerve testing but I don't have the result yet. You should have gone to the doctor a day after if the pain is still there. That way, you will risk further complications! Hope we'll get better soon!

be sure to know how it started out and check with your doctor before certain things to do. sometime messageing helps and sometimes sit in a chair and try to lift one leg to cross the other with a spread position not exact over knee to knee but over ankle to knee and varely push down where the knee that you crossed is toward the floor while your leg is crossed then try the other leg.. it could be just about anything..but sounds like a nerve problem . you can check web md on the internet and it may help. either way is serious you may need to see the doctor..sometimes it could be something we least expect. damaged nerves can be big problems. check it out. I sure hope you are better soon. I know been there before time to time. my problem is mostly damaged nerves. it could be heart problems also known in the legs. be careful ...

If the pain is going from your back to your legs, it sounds like you might have a herniated disc in your spine. I'd see a doctor right away as that is a serious back injury.
