Finally told my parent I smoke herb

I have been smoking for years and was tired of hiding my pipe when they came over and trying to make sure the place smells like people haven't been smoking there. My mom was pretty cool with it and just asked that I don't come over to their house while I'm high. My dad told me he would probably do it if it were legal for him to. After a little bit more of talking he even said that he would try some with me at some point. I was pretty happy that they didn't decide to treat me like a heroin addict and tell me how disappointed they are. I guess the older generation realizes that weed isn't that bad after all.

I was pretty amazed with how my mother acted when I told her I was coming down off LSD about Forty five years ago too. She was so cool about it. Here I had been dodging and lying about it and the weed for so long. Sometimes I think they know or atleast have an inkling. I am glad your parents didn't freak and that all is well. You may even have a smokin' buddy. lol

It's (believe it or not) generous of your folks, to be compliant with the changes of the world. I give them my highest regard! I truly do understand the benefits of this mind-altering infusion! It is just NOT for me, and I do understand that, but I do NOT have any objections for persons that find ease in their life, I just ask that it is NOT done in my presence. I really do react to second-hand inhaling!. I live in B.C., Canada, where it is medically annointed and I prefer, not to have it in my environment,.....but if you wish to walk into my back 40 and indulge..go for it! Well, yeah, it ISN'T heroin, it isn't addictive, nor can it harm you. I am actually involved with FB groups that are ALL MEDICAL. And you wouldn't believe the numerous medical applications in ALL it's forms. Oil being the most healing, even curing people of cancer.
Glad they are cool with it, though. Some people are just such sticks in the mud and beleive all the propaganda they heard.

There's a group for this? I would really like to join that as I have used 420 especially after my multiple car accidents. I'd easily go back to using that then taking a pill any day!

Honestly, there is nothing wrong with a little cannabis. In fact, I believe the world would be a better place if everyone smoked a little more weed. I've been smoking for a few years also but my parents still don't know. It's annoying, and I'd LOVE to smoke them up, but they are wayyy too uptight (go figure...that could be easily changed). They're really traditional and would probably abandon me if they found out haha.
